My Favorite Movies

Best Super Hero flick ever. Downey fits the part like a glove. This is definitely worth seeing on the big screen. Oh, and no cheesy musical numbers!

One of the best movies I've ever seen. The story and its events are unique as well as thought provoking.

Has anyone mention how amazing the soundtrack is? I think that should be noted. As soon as I started watching this movie, I was hooked. Usually, I find horror/thriller flicks trite and downright stupid. This movie was incredibly well made, and the music fit the mood like a glove.

I will never understand how anyone could not love this movie. Classic.

Right up there with the Bourne series

Dreamscape cinematography with intensely cerebral dialogue, what more could you ask of an indie flick?

The ending was lackluster, but the rest was great.

Totally different from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (which I believe is truer to the book) I loved Johnny Depp as Wonka, but Gene Wilder makes a great Willy Wonka in his own right.

I have to say, I don't understand why so many people dislike or are uninterested in this movie. The story is unique while the characters familiar to suburban America, with a bit of an odd twist in Donnie's character. The performances left nothing to be desired. The events are often fantasy, or perhaps madness, but in the end it's open to interpretation, and it always provokes thought.

I have a love/hate relationship with this movie. It was so well done, and based on a true story, so I can't blame the writers for the way it ended.

If you don't like this movie, I'm not sure we can be friends.
