The Dark Knight

What could have been an awesome film, full of great actors, that fell to a patchy, dragged out storyline, and too many moments wheres its too unbelievable. I agree with those who say its not as good as the first, but regardless its a good film. There are very credible performances from the whole cast, but the story, which was too show-this-and-let-it-be-forgotten disappointed such a highly anticipated film. It could have been so much better (and shorter) if specific scenes had been dealt with better. For example, the boats scene, they dragged it out, then killed it off so quickly. Robin Williams was considered for The Joker role, and he could have made the film so much better - with no disregard to Heath, who was very good, deceased or not, but if you've seen One Hour Photo, you'll know why Williams could have blown this out of preportion. Comedians play excellent nut jobs, even to the psychotic level that Ledger made it.
In short - Could have been better, but still an alright watch.
