A young man is released from Prison after having been in jail since his early teens for having been involved in a murder. He is given a new idenity and a fresh start until he is found out. There are good performances to be found here, but I feel the script could have been better written.
Stephen Fry brings a real life to the famous writer and poet Oscar Wilde. This movie version has much more to do about his homosexuality that it does about his writings; but ti's a good story to tell. Jude Law plays his hopelessly childish and reckless though oh so beautiful love interest. The best thing about this film though is Fry's performance which is top drawer.
