dedicated to misha.... When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see. If the sun should rise and find your eyes, all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you did today, While thinking of the many things we didn't get to say, I know how much you love me, As much as I love you. And each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too; But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand. That an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready In Heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind, All those things I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, A tear fell from my eye, For all of life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for, So much yet to do, It seemed almost impossible, that I was leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad, I thought of all the love we shared, And all the fun we had. When I walked through Heaven's gates, I felt so much at home. When God looked down and smiled at me, From his great golden throne, He said, "This is eternity, and all I've promised you. Today your life on Earth is past, But here it starts anew. I promise no tomorrow, But today will always last, and since each day's the same day, There's no longing for the past. But you have been so faithful, So trusting and so true, Though there were times you did some things, you know you shouldn't do. But you have been forgiven, And now at last you're free, So won't you take my hand And share My life with Me?" So when tomorrow starts without me, Don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right here in your Heart RANDOM BITS..... i loved you more than i thought i could, i gave you more than i thought i would, im not your toy like you think i am, grow up you fool and be a man. Outpost
by KhrisA pretty good supernatural mixed sci-fi thriller.... and usually anything with Nazi's in it give me a subtle sense of the creeps.
Anyways, its moves along fast enough though it isn't until you are halfway through the movie then you learn what the mercenaries are up against... and the deep s*** that they got themselves into.
This is as far as it can get from Hollywood, and its not that bad... I enjoyed it. Nothing too fancy, just a creepy tale and a little noir filmmaking.Hey, you should really see this!

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (AVP 2)
by DeanWell this is much better than I expected. After the rather disappointing first AVP this has a lot more action in it. It reminded me a lot of the Aliens film in the second half of the movie and some scenes were very similar whether that was deliberate or not is hard to say. It's good to see continuation from the earlier Predator and Alien films as well in this, such as the weapons and behaviour seen in those films help link it to both franchises. Overall a good action/horror that is better than the first by a long way. Oh for those complaining the film is too dark, adjust the brightness!

Righteous Kill
by Kropotkin Mouzer Al Pacino and De Niro, good script, solid story, what could have possibly gone so wrong?
The twist was pretty much given away at the very start of the movie, it wasn't obvious, but if you watched enough crime movies you'll know the ending, probably just not worth seeing.
Skip this movie unless you're a fan of the duo.
New York Post | Lou Lumenick
A slow-moving, ridiculous police thriller that would have been shipped straight to the remainder bin at Blockbuster if it starred anyone else.Hey, you should really see this!

Låt den Rätte Komma In (Let the Right One in)
by Dr BloodAlthough "Let the Right One In" may be overlong for those with small brains and no ability to enjoy anything other than the trend of grainy, low-budget, shakycam nasties which we have been subjected to over the past few years, for me it was very nearly perfect. In fact I wish that it was even longer as it is yet another film that you get so caught up in that you really don't want it to end.
Everyone mentions the "beautiful cinematography" but the sad thing is that this is just how films used to be shot and should still be shot to get audiences back into the movie theaters again. There are no bits that are too dark to see and nothing which will leave you with a splitting headache. It's just how a movie ought to be.
The plot is a simple one, not overly original but not too derivative either considering it is really just another vampire story. There is an independent movie by Jay Reel called "Dawn" (available from Tempe) which is pretty much the same thing but I doubt that anyone will have seen it so the best analogy is to say that "Let the Right One In" is like a children's version of "The Hunger" mixed with the kids' scenes from "Near Dark" and "Interview with the Vampire". It also pays a fair bit of homage to a few scenes from "Innocent Blood" as well.
There isn't a lot of humour in this, in spite of some bad CGI cats in a scene straight out of "Sleepwalkers" but it isn't overly scary either. Gore effects are realistic and minimal so think drama rather than horror and you'll be on the right lines. It's a hard film to fit into any genre really as it does tend to straddle quite a few non-horror themes most of which it deals with very effectively.
As far as the acting goes, since this is a Swedish film, it's hard to tell if the performances are anything other than just ok. I've heard from Swedish friends that some of the dialogue is a bit weak, verging on humorous, but, in translation (and with subtitles), this doesn't seem to matter to any English speaking audience. From what I could tell, the boy who played Oskar was a bit expressionless but seemed to have good chemistry with the girl who played Eli.
This is, without doubt, the best vampire film that I've seen for years and is one of my top films from this year alone. Apart from "Teeth" all this year's horror movies have been awful so this was a pleasant surprise at the end of the year.
I recommend "Let the Right One In" to everyone who likes good movies not just good horror movies. There's something here for everyone.Watch this as soon as you can. It's great. Ignore the "R" rating as it doesn't deserve it though.

Hellraiser
by KhrisA classic twisted horror from the mind of Cliver Barker, we enter the world of demons and hell, a twisted take on what gives us pleasure or pain.
Meet Pinhead aka Cenobite number one, Lord of the angels or demons, or whatever they may be to you... and the evil Frank, a human who unlocked the secret of the box to experience an eternity of pain and sufferring at the hands of the cenobite. When coming into contact with blood, he escapes hell and with the aid of his brother's unfaithful wife, they kill men in order to fully restore his body.
Back in the 80's this was big. Nowadays, the effects may seem tame but still ae top notch in terms of gruesome... gotta love the chains effect.
All horror fans must watch this.... before the remake comes out next year!!
