Hancock
PG-13
"Hancock" can be broken up in three different ways. The first 30 minutes are very funny and highly entertaining. Will Smith is at his best, and the laughs just keep coming. The next 30 minutes, however, tend to become a little bit sloppy and the laughs are far less frequent. All would not be lost, however, if the remaining 30 minutes picked up on the previous steam and delivered a solid ending. Unfortunately, the final 30 minutes went from sloppy to an all-out mess, ending the movie so suddenly, you thought you must have missed something. A disappointing turn for Will Smith to say the least. Not recommended.
Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto del Fauno)
R
This very dark fairy tale is not for children, but is certainly a feast for the eyes. Filmed in Spanish, it is subtitled, which may cause some to resist watching. Too bad really, because they are missing a truly remarkable film. A young girl escapes her abusive life into a world of fantasy; one that is so intertwined in her real world that it is hard to tell what is real and what is fantasy. A very original film, with amazing visuals. A must-see for lovers of film.
Hellboy
PG-13
I resisted seeing this movie for years, mainly based on the title. However, it is more of a fantasy than anything else. Straight out of a comic book, this very stylistic tale of good vs evil is amazing to look at to say the least, but lacks a real substance underneath. Worth seeing for just the visuals alone.
Get Smart
PG-13
Based on the classic TV series, "Get Smart" is very funny and a lot of fun. Steve Carell leads a talented cast that keep the laughs coming the whole way through. Very enjoyable.

1.
The American President
PG-13
Cleverly written political fantasy about the American president falling in love with a political activist. Written by the talented Aaron Sorkin, this movie always keeps a smile on your face.
2.
Annie Hall
PG
Woody Allen's best movie features a very funny performance from Diane Keaton, and a brilliant script from Allen. Very funny movie.
4.
A Few Good Men
R
Just a good old fashioned political mystery. Tom Cruise and Demi Moore play lawyers trying to uncover the truth behind a soldier's mysterious death. Jack Nicholson delivers a solid performance as the General who may or may not know the truth behind the apparent cover-up. Definitely a must-see.
5.
Field of Dreams
PG
Wonderful fantasy about a man and his love of baseball. This isn't so much a movie about sports, but rather a story of second chances. Quite possibly the best feel-good movie ever made. A real winner.
