Far From Heaven
PG-13
(2003 Director: Todd Haynes) Director Todd Haynes handles a delicate subject that never used to appear on screen: homosexuality or bisexuality. Very successful top appliance salesman Dennis Quaid leads a double life. Successful businessman and family man stars to rock the boat in his 2 kids 2 car garage suburban paradise.

(1990 Director: Alan Parker) Seems there were made a film or 2 including hush hush accounts of the internment of Japanese living in America in response to WW II! This film is one; another is Snow Falling on Cedars, though in a less underplayed way..

(1996 Director: Ron Hward) NEVER SAW a better kidnapping film! WOw! Robert Patrick as the villain....awesome role!! Mel Gibson very believable in this role as a parent desperate to save the life of his kidnapped daughter being held for ransom. Mom (Rene Russo) is hysterical and torn between believing her husband's instincts and following the cautious instructions given by FBI agents leading the kidnapping investigation.
