Titanic 5.0 Stars
Astonishing. I am shaking just writing about it. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio deliever marvellous performances as the lovers Jack and Rose. Amazing screenplay where Leo and Kate made up a line each. The visual effects are the best I've ever seen and the music is beautiful. Well done for all the actors that were involved. To finish, I would like to share the fact that Leo winked at Kate at the 2007 Oscars, how cool is that?!

Fight Club (1999,  R)
Fight Club 5.0 Stars
Everyone underestimated this movie as a pointless amount of violence, however I am aware that it's much more! Tremendous performances from Brad Pitt and Edward Norton who make the film even more terrific. Hilarious in places, the homework assignment, the fact that Meat Loaf has breasts and Brad Pitt puts a gun to a china man's head. Lets not forget the twist, awesome and clever are the words I would use to describe that. Overall, a spectacular movie.

Gangs of New York (2002,  R)
Gangs of New York 5.0 Stars
Gangs Of New York is a treasure bought to the film industry. With a truly unbeatable cast which starres the likes of the tremendous Leonardo DiCaaprio and Daniel - Day Lewis and this is the only film where Daniel has actually given a memorable performance as the enemy of Amsterdam Vallon, a man seeking to avenge his father Liam Neeson who was unfortunately killed in a battle for who should rule over the famous Five Points. Martin Scorsese's brilliant revival of the novel is phenominal. Martin Scorsese read the book in one day and was just captivated by the whole story which was his inspiration to bring such a mastrepiece to the puplic eye. Historically, this film is completely accurate. The costume design is absolutely flawless and the scenery creates such power and menace to the screen. The very end shot is truly spine-tingling, the way New York City fades from the 1860's to present day finishes this movie with such professionalism. The screenplay is amazing, the way the dialogue is constructed is so unipue and clever and the cast fit their roles perfectly.

VERDICT:

An amazing story of the old New York City we never knew to exist. Great cast, amazing screenplay, tremendous movie.
