Wanted to see soo long ago...and finally my best friend lend it to me!! I SOOOO loved it!! omg it's so sad at times. The music was brilliant! No wonder why it was nominated. And the acting was awesome too. I love the Phantom haha and Gerard Butler is sexy!!
Oh, and for one second i thought it would end differently...*sniff* This movie has actually made it into my top list. Really good! |

Yes, another culmination. It's just that, OMG! the saga's AWESOME. Maybe some are better than others but I don't care. George Lucas did a very good job back then. I know people watch the IV - VI episodes and laugh at the Power Rager-like(not that I have anything against them) effects, but we can't deny that the same effects looked really cool some year ago.
It was also interesting, the way Lucas started at the middle. It was cool to see the start of it all. Lol I even remember thinking something like "OMG who can evil Darth Sidious be!?" and "Vader! omg Vader! He's sooo mean!!" I was 6 =P |

I place my comment here not because I didn't like the other two, but because I feel this is like a culmination of what certainly was really hard work for absolutely everyone that participated in the making of these increadible films.
I personally don't have a favourite out of the three, for I consider them as a whole. Besides, what negative things can I say about them? The actors were perfect. The production was perfect. The music was perfect. The effects were perfect. Not even the length bothered me. And the adaptation...it was also very good, eventhough it's missing stuff. But I think that is inevitable when coming to book based movies. Just imagine the extra time and money!! Never can a book be critizised by its movie. But talking about LOTR as a movie, it's one of my really fav ever. |
