by ToddI don't think I will review this because everything I could say about this film has already been said before countless times,so I will say one thing:It needed more Michael Cane and Maggie Gyllenhall.
I'd bet this is the fiftieth TDK recommendation you've gotten today,so my apollogies.

The Dark Knight
by ShadowThis was so much better than "Batman begins". Heath ledger made the Joker scary edgy, and insane. He was the best Joker yet to grace the Batman movies. Loved his "magic trick" on entrance to the film which let's you know exactly what you are dealing with when it comes to the Joker. Sadly, it will be his last great performance in a film. I am still not sold on Christian Bale as Batman. His "Batman voice" is unconvincing and fake sounding. Bale does much better playing "Bruce Wayne" than "Batman". I loved both Maggie Gyllenhaal and Aaron Eckhart....they had good chemistry together. I also like that Cillian Murphy repraised his role as "The Scarecrow" for a few scenes. I am glad they didn't forget about his character and it shows that they probably would have brought the Joker back in future films but Ledger's death has thrown that into "who knows?" territory. The reference to the body armour of Batman being "cat resistant" makes me wonder if Catwoman will make an appearance in the next film. Overall, a great film and definitely one of the better Batman movies.
One of the best Batman movies so far. R.I.P. Heath Ledger, your presence in this film made me realize yet again how much your talent will be missed.

The Dark Knight
by ShondaOK, ill put my two cent in. First let me say Nolan really did an excellent job of making batman what he really is... a man. If you've seen the movie you know what I mean. This is not the run of the mill comic/superhero film. If your expecting to see good guy vs bad guy, good guy wins you may be in for a few suprises. Even though Ledgers performance was phenomenal, oscar worthy even, I think his death has overshadowed the fact that Bale, Freeman, Oldman, and Caine are in this movie(who in my opinion arent capable of bad performances). Eckhart not to shabby either and they replace Holmes with someone who actually has talent. Long story short without spoiling anything, go check it out if you are one of the 2 people on the planet who hasnt yet.

The Dark Knight
by TannerIf this movie was a woman I would lube up and fuck it. Holy shit!!!! Dare I say "best comic book movie ever"? I don't want to say to much about it for those of you that haven't had the opportunity to see it yet........I will say this though..........purchase a large soda at the theater just in case you need to take a piss during the film. You aren't going to want to miss a second.
Hopefully this is my movie review comeback. I've been away for a while and plan on making you lucky / blessed sheep laugh as often as possible. Until next time........See it, fuckers

I recommend you see...Though I do think this was a great movie... this message is more of a goodbye to everyone. My time on Flix has pretty much ran its course...so by time you read this my account should already be deleted.
Nobody has ran me off the site or anything like that I'm just not as active on it anymore and just feel that its what needs to be done. Most of you can still reach me on Facebook, Myspace, MSN, Yahoo and if you dont have the info get with one of the regs in the chat and they can pass the message on to me...
I love you all in your own unique (and sometimes eerily twisted) ways and will really miss you. If it gets really bad then I'll come back and make another account lol

True Romance
by IainAnother great film penned by Tarantino, this tells the story of a escort girl Alabama and comic book store worker Clarence (Patricia Arquette and Christian Slater) who find true love in each other after she is set up with him by a friend of his. Deciding to flee after Clarence has a run in with one Alabama's pimp Drexl Spivey (Gary Oldman), they take a suitcase with half a million dollars worth of raw, uncut cocaine with them to Los Angeles to try and sell it, despite having a mob from Detroit (led by Christopher Walken) as well as the LAPD on their tails. They find Clarence's friend Dick (Michael Rapaport) who helps them find a buyer for their cocaine through a friend high up in the movie industry.
A huge cast and Tarantino's story makes it another modern classic. This was shown as part 2 of a Quentin Tarantino written double bill, and was definitely the better of the 2 movies.
Despite most of the big-named cast having very little time in this movie (Gary Oldman only having 2 scenes in the entire movie, Samuel L Jackson on screen for 2 minutes tops, Christopher Walken having one scene in the movie etc.), it's still a definite must-see movie.posted 14 days ago -

Natural Born Killers
by IainAn ultra-violent modern classic, it goes all out with the bloodshed, especially in telling the backstories of the two main characters who, despite being evil personified, we're made to feel sympathy for in the second half of the movie after spending the first half murdering everyone who gets in their way. When in prison for most of the second half of the movie, the TV media glorifying their brutal mudering spree are shown as the real villains of the story as they look for ratings, little knowing that the situation will turn against them when taking their endorsement of the killers one step further.
I saw this as part 1 of a Quentin Tarantino written double bill, and I'd highly recommend it, despite being the weaker of the two moviesshown that night.
A fantastic cast, including Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis as the fictional Bonnie and Clyde of the story help keep the viewers watching the movie. Tommy Lee Jones makes the most of what little time he has on screen and Robert Downey Jr's at his best. Be warned though, it's for people with strong stomachs only, and definitely not something you should see while drunk/stoned/tripping.posted 14 days ago -
