Ong Bak 2
R
As the directorial debut of martial arts star Tony Jaa, Ong Bak 2 suffers from "Chronicles of Riddick" syndrome: all pizazz and little heart. What's worst is that Jaa and co-director Panna Rittikrai sacrifice all the great action and stunts Jaa is known for (only 25 minutes of the 90 minute running time has any fighting and even less than that features Jaa) in favor of a nonsensical plot and outrageously poor dialogue. Add it all up and you have Jaa's worst outing since he was the stunt double for Robin Shou in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.
Zombieland
R
A much-needed kick in the pants for the usually anemic zombie genre, Zombieland is a fun thrill-ride with gore and humor to spare.

Spider-Man 2
PG-13
An emotionally and viscerally stunning film that should be remembered as one of the best comic book films ever made.
