| Tropic Thunder - R | I expected this movie to be bad. However, I also expected that this movie would make me laugh. Unfortunately, the movie itself was the punchline. | December 26, 2008 | N/A | |||
| WALL-E - G |
Oh Pixar, how I love thee. Let me count the ways....forget that. Another sterling example of taking a cute, all right, completely adorable movie, and screwing it up by adding in extra plot. If Pixar has ended the movie at the point where Wall-E and Eve are in the escape pod, they both hop in, crash back to Earth, and live happily ever after, Pixar would have made the cutest movie of all time. Instead, you're treated to an hour of relative meaninglessness where Wall-E and Eve pave the road for humanity to return. *Gag* My kid loves Wall-E. My kid loves Eve, but she loses interest right about the same time I do, which says quite a bit about the end of the film. |

| The Dark Knight - PG-13 |
Yes, this movie was badass. Yes, it certainly sets the benchmark high for comic-book turned movie villians. However, I'm not as in love with this film as the rest of the universe, apparently. Heath Ledger lived up to all the hype he got for being the Joker. Luckily for him, he got in his performance of a lifetime before kicking the bucket. However, aside from Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman, the rest of the cast is pretty lifeless, bland, and uninteresting. About the plot *SPOILERS!* YAY! They killed Rachel! I can even buy that they killed off Dent (although characters have bad habits of staying dead), but did we really need Gordon and Batman crying over his corpse? All in all, this movie is definately worth watching though. The effects aren't particularly spectacular, but they're not supposed to be. You will like this movie. |

| Wanted - R |
All right. I knew almost nothing about this movie going in. Let's face it. This movie sucked. Its pretty bad when you throw some unknown actor, Angelina Jolie, and Morgan Freeman and you get crap out the other end. Before tonight, I was convinced Morgan Freeman could save any film he was in. I hate being proven wrong. The effects, I'll grant, were pretty cool looking. Curving bullets, and flipping cars, and blood always gets attention. The plot was horrid. Putrid. Atrocious. The plot was so bad, I want to slap the comic writer who was credited with spawning this crap. Do not waste your time with this. |

| Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope - PG | When I was a kid, this was my crack. A young man feeling out of place goes on an extraordinary adventure. Bullseye. | April 3, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace - PG |
Objection you're honor....the pod race was pretty cool. That aside...the fighting was top shelf choreography... |

| Live Free or Die Hard - PG-13 | The unrated version of this movie was much more complete than the theatrical release. As long as you don't let things like plot ruin the explosions, this is an entertaining action movie. | March 19, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Freaky Friday - PG | I remember once upon a time, Jamie Lee Curtis had a career.... | March 19, 2008 | N/A | |||
