Brilliant! Sir Thomas More—a Renaissance Man—is convicted of treason when he holds true—in a silent kind of way—to papal orthodoxy! English Reformation here we come! In terms of accuracy (historical themed movies cannot avoid this, so yes, it does matter) it strays away from More’s vices, and portrays Cromwell as an evildoer. Despite this, I still enjoyed it immensely. Probably a top ten movie in my list!
