Another oscar worthy film this year. If you are going into this film expecting it to be like No country For old men, as the promos advertise, based on the author that wrote both of these stories then you may be suprised. This film has more soul and hope, while as No Country was about the results of failure, and well this is not a Coen Brothers film either. It is however a great film on its own and deserves to be recognized. This is a beautiful and gritty spiritual experience on a personal level for myself. For most, this film will be seen as a really well executed film on the survival level. This is one of the best films of the year and it is definitely worth a look.

The film is darn close to perfect for it's pitch. What we have here is a genuine 80's horror film that was made this year. It really feels as though it was filmed in the 80's. Everything here works for what it is and it is exciting to watch the tension build in this film. I can't wait to see what else this director has in store.
