Hamlet 2 - R This movie is what you would get if you mixed Glee & High School Musical with a blender full of margaritas and threw in some South Park. Very funny and very crude :) October 23, 2009

Toy Story - G The story and characters are both great - the medium (CGI animation) only enhances things. December 31, 2007

Toy Story 2 - G A story as good as the first installment, if not better. December 31, 2007

The Bourne Ultimatum - PG-13 Excellent action flick. Works well as a finale for the trilogy while setting the stage for a sort of an anti-Bond franchise. November 19, 2007

Hairspray - PG Incredibly fun new version of the classic Waters film. Since it is based on the musical based on the original 1988 movie, don't expect to see a remake because this one stands nicely on its own while throwing in enough in-jokes for fans.
The music, written for the stage version, works very well for the most part but it does feel like they tried to cram in as much as they could. I enjoyed all of the actors and characters with the exception of Travolta's Edna; the voice he came up with simply grated and I had a hard time getting past it.
See this film and enjoy!

The Invasion - PG-13 Better than the reviews I had seen/heard for it suggested it would be. Yes, it requires some leaps of logic and suspension of disbelief, but it doesn't suck outright. September 23, 2007

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - PG September 9, 2007

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - PG-13 Easily better than movies 1 and 2 and almost as good as the 3rd film. It does a pretty good job of balancing what it keeps from the books and what it can do without. September 9, 2007
