Speed Racer (2008)
PG
Why would the Wachowski brothers make such a movie as this? It looks like it's a kids movie, for gods sake!
The Dog Who Stopped the War (La Guerre des Tuques)
Unrated
I saw this movie when I was little, and it has stuck with me ever since! Great movie with a good message for everyone, I need to find it for my daughter to watch!
Star Trek (Star Trek XI)
Unrated
I don't know whether I want to see Kirk and Spock, et al when they are young......I hope this will be a good movie!
Poltergeist II: the Other Side
PG-13
Not as good as the first movie or the third movie, but I guess you have to watch it just for the continuity. I didn't like how Craig T. Nelson's character was possessed by the evil and came after his family. The whole point of the poltergeist movies is family sticks together.
I really like this movie, I can watch it over and over again! I especially like Tom Skerritt and Nancy Allan as Carol-Anne's de facto parents. The only thing I don't understand is what happened to her family? Why did her mom and dad pack her off to Chicago? That was the only part I didn't like. I missed seeing them from the first movies.

The Shawshank Redemption

I could watch this movie over and over, and in fact I have. My bf leaves the room in disgust whenever it comes on, as he's sick of watching it.
2.
Schindler's List

Liam Neeson's best performance. I just love the interaction between him and Ben Kingsley in this movie. I also love the little flashes of colour, in an otherwise black and white movie.

White Oleander
PG-13
Such a beautiful movie, with great performances. I thought it was better than the book.

Stephen King's The Stand
Unrated
Very good adaption of one of Stephen King's longest novels. Doing it as a miniseries meant they could keep a lot more of the material in the movie, which is wonderful. There's a whole bunch of well known actors in here, and they all do a great job. Jamey Sheridan especially does a great job as Randall Flagg, one of King's best villains ever.
