Very funny satire about how life would be in the fifties/sixties if there were zombie slaves, lol. All the actors are great, and the plot is very interesting. This movie has some great emotional parts and some laugh out loud parts. Even if you don't like zombie movies, you'll like this one, it makes a great statement especially regarding the 50s mentality.
Not too bad of a movie, Ted Levine and Robert Englund are awesome in it, despite Englund's character not even existing in the short story. The short story has more heart than the movie, but that frequently happens when translating Stephen King to the screen. The ending was pretty good as well, but they didn't have to add in that very last scene, it wasn't necessary. Special effects were pretty cool, the mangler looked very scary, especially in the final battle, lol. That was cool. All in all, see it if you love Stephen King and/or cheesy horror movies, I'm sure you'll enjoy it on some level!
Great movie, with typical Tarantino quirkyness and unforgettable characters! You'll recognize everybody in this movie, and I do mean everybody, lol. James Gandolfini is very memorable as a hood and Gary Oldman is awesome as a pimp, though we don't see them long. My only complaint is that Christian Slater seems to transform from a shy, nerdy loser to a cool action hero very quickly. I love the romance between him and Patrica Arquette's characters, very cute! Would love to see a sequel some day, but I suppose that isn't in the cards.
A very good movie, that kept me riveted all the way to the end! Sam Rockwell is amazing, he holds the movie together along with the incredible voice talent of Kevin Spacey. The plot is very well written, with engaging twists and turns that keep you watching, and the special effects are also very good, and don't distract you from the movie. A really cool movie, that you should go and rent right away, you'll find it worth it!
