My name is Jared and I'm Mexican, and here is my rating system...
0.5 stars= A complete disaster. I'd rather watch Barbara Walters take a dump. A drunk headless ferret could make a better movie. 1.0 stars= Horrific. Can't believe that someone thought it was a good idea to make this. 1.5 stars= Very bad. Barely watchable. 2.0 stars= Bad. For whatever reason, I just didn't like it. 2.5 stars= Mediocre. Watchable but most likely forgettable. 3.0 stars= Decent. Has some things going for it, but it could have been much better. 3.5 stars= Good. Has some flaws but it was an admirable attempt at greatness. 4.0 stars= Very good. I had a great time watching this movie. 4.5 stars= Freakin' awesome. The people who made this definitely knew what they were doing. I loved it. 5.0 stars= A classic. Special in every way and could not have been better. Perfect in my eyes. |

John Tucker Must Die
PG-13
One of the most brain-dead and unrealistic teen movies you will ever see. This makes "Saved By The Bell" look like a realistic portrayal of high school life....
Some of the girls are cute though, so it's not a total loss.

Definitely my favorite movie of all time. Watching it has a significant place in my childhood memory. It's more than a coming-of-age tale; it's a timeless, simple, and emotional masterpiece, and the most accurate portrayal of friendship I've ever seen in any piece of art.

That band is deece. Haha, look:
On September 13, 2008, Jones was put on the 60-day disabled list, effectively ending his disappointing season. Jones finished the season with a .158 batting average, three home runs, and 14 RBI. He was not seen in the dugout during any of the postseason games, nor the celebrations in the locker rooms, as he had been sent home for the winter in hopes to rehab his bum knee and return in 2009 in top shape.[2] Despite that, Jones has stated that he does not wish to return to the Dodgers in 2009, stating that the fans did not give him a fair chance and it seemed that he was unwelcome in comparison to Manny Ramirez. It is unlikely, however, that he would be traded, citing an expensive contract and poor play in 2008.
Aww, poor Andruw Jones felt unwelcome in comparison to Manny.posted 9 days ago -

Prop 8. BY LUCAS K
"As far as I know, no actual rights are being fought over here. It's the word "marriage" that's causing all the ruckus. Domestic partnerships have the same rights under the law as marriage. (Correct me if i'm wrong, because my argument depends on this.)
So let's examine marriage. People are not born with the ability to marry, as they are born with the ability to have their own thoughts (right of free speech, freedom of religion, etc.) It's also not something that's the distinct province of the government (such as the right to vote), so if marriages and domestic partnerships have the same rights under the law, there's no enfringement of rights there either.
Thus, it seems marriage is a social institution. An institution set up by the people, and it follows that people should be able to set up this institution in any way they want (which certainly can include moral restrictions, if that's what the people want). So, when Californians rejected the concept of gay marriage in the 2000 vote, it should have put the matter to rest. Except it didn't. Activist judges would then overturn this decision. Which then leads up to prop 8, an attempt to reverse that decision.
To me, this looks like a situation where the minority is trying to enforce their opinion onto a majority by redefining a social institution. We already decided in 2000. It's unfair to keep doing this dance over and over.
People who are arguing against proposition 8 can say it's unfair to "force your opinion on them," but the same goes for you, buster."posted 18 days ago -

?Mark my words: It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy,? Biden told the crowd. ?The world is looking. We?re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Watch, we?re going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.?

Just a small town girl, livin in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south detroit
He took the midnight train goin anywhere
A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night
Working hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
(chorus)
Dont stop believin
Hold on to the feelin

i'm sick of the Phillies and their stupid fans.
Obama's whatever. I've pretty much come to accept it now. Just let him take the White House and see what he does with it. He won't do any better than McCain would have, and then maybe America will learn.posted 38 days ago -
