One of the best espionage movies ever made. Better than the first 2, and that alone says a lot. Action was realistic and top-notch. Great pacing, performances, writing and style. All around near-perfectly crafted.
The definition of a summer blockbuster. It could have done without the forced story, and the humor seemed like a situational comedy at times, but all that was filler for what I wanted to see. The robots, the transforming, and action sequences, all top notch. Fans of the source material won't be disappointed.
As far as action movies go, this is one of the best. It has all the right ingredients: Hokey, yet cool story line, plenty of one-liners, and some of the most over the top action sequences I've ever seen. Justin Long's characters wasn't as annoying as I thought he would be. Bruce Willis was great, though the PG-13 rating hurt his character a little. But the amazing action scenes more than made up for it.
A great performance from Cusack that provides thrills without relying on blood and gore. Stephen King's chilling story, open to many interpretations, leaves plenty to talk about.
