Oh how I with it was a lot darker, to think what it could have been. It had all the makings of a much better move. Especially should have just left the fate of the kids in question! Would be great if you could get a darker cut of the movie. ;)
I think that I must be a bit of a Johnny Depp fan too. |

| Braveheart - R | Its a decent movie, the two stars more reflects my personal lack of interest. | October 19, 2007 | N/A | |||

| Monsters, Inc. - G | The is the best Pixar that I have seen to date. Would have been great if it was a little more dark and mature in parts but I guess its essentially a family fun movie targeted towards the kids. | October 19, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Blowup (Blow-Up) (Blow Up) - Unrated | Really drew me in, plenty of intrigue and subtle humor. I'll give it a more in-depth review later. | October 19, 2007 | N/A | |||
| A.I. Artificial Intelligence - PG-13 |
Its much better if I just press stop the first time it ends. I understand that the film doesn't depart hugely form Kubrick's vision but somehow I just think he would have done a much better job with the ending. Really my main problem is that the creator would not have just forgotten about the robot. Then there is also plenty of other such more minor problems. However fantastic visuals and atmosphere. Just it seems like it could have been a lot better to me. At the end of the day being technically minded it can be hard to see past how ridiculous the writers concept of artificial intelligence and robotics is, however I think I would manage better if it wasn't for all the other holes. BTW if I'm correct the 'aliens' are actually highly advanced robots. ;) Oh, the teddy is the most well developed and interesting character too. |
