Daylight Robbery
by BarryBelter of a heist movie, well paced, quality writing and a great twist...made all the better by the fact that its a true story....
Hey, you should really see this! Quality Britflick robbery movie. Not too dour or pompous and really good fun.....I was really impressed that they actually got away at the end...

Hey, you should really, really see this! Has everything a great psychological horror creepfest should have. Great story, really deep and the ending sets it off just nicely. That coupled with the fact its directed by Del torro says it all. great film.

The Mist
by BarryThe premis is a simple on....US army open a portal to another dimesion and everyone gets eaten.....cool....Loved the book and really enjoyed the film adaptation...Great twist at the end too...
Hey, you should really see this! I have always loved the book and although King went a bit wibble with his writing style after his accident this adaptation was really enjoyable. Okay big hairy monsters were never going to petrify anyone but I liked this one a lot.

Saw V
by BarryIve long been a fan of the Saw films and although they did start to jade a little round 4 this one got them going again...Superb film....
Hey, you should really see this! I doubt there are many on here that aren't Saw film fans. The writing and the acting make the films what they are and the plotlines are rarely dull. Like I said I started to get a little bored around number 4 but this has livened things up again nicely. You get a few explinations and a few tasters for the next couple which is nice. The gore is about the same but end makes up for it....squishy.....

by BarryI was hoping this would be a great little movie...unfortunatley it wasnt. Dont get me wrong I laughed out louad on a couple of occasions and the kids seemed amused enough but that was about it.....Ot didnt really seem to know what it wanted to be...shame ut still worth seeing....just.
Hey, you should really probably this! The best thing about it was the bunny who couldnt die.......other than that it was pretty run of the mill and well below the norm for this sort of cgi cartoon.

Horton Hears a Who!
by BarryAbsolute delight of a film for the young and old. Carrey's (voice) at his usual wackiest and the plot is a really nice one too. Just basically nice really........nice....
Hey, you should really see this! its just like soooooo nice...lol....Not a bad film at all with some great scenes for the young and young at heart. Even the most twisted, depraved horror fan will enjoy this...I know....cause I did....:)

by BarryThoroughly enjoyable romp. I love Freeman as a baddy and he certainly doesnt dissapoint and Jolie's acting is as good as ever.
Hey, you should really, really see this belter! Really good movie with a bracking twist. As I said Iove the way Freeman portrays a baddie and he doesnt dissapoint in this one.

The Flock
by BarryQuality thriller and some brilliant acting by Gere. Nasty subject matter but handled really well.
Hey, you should really see this! Well worth a night in for this one. Gere plays a blinder and does really well portraying a civil servant right on the edge....he needs to do more of this sort of film, they are meant for him.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall
by BarryIts been a while since ive seen a genuine laugh out loud comedy and this did the trick. Yes its a bit cheezy in parts but I genuinly loved it.
Hey, you should really see this! As I said above this was the first comedy that made me laugh out loud more than once....Russell Brand wrote a great autobiography and he was classic in this......really well worth a watch.

The Incredible Hulk
by BarryReally good second instalment to this age old classic. Norton plays a great part as the tormented scientist. Three shouldnt be long in coming now.
Hey, you should really see this! Great follow up to the first one and the acting was really ratehr good too. Shame there wasnt as much metal being ripped up and things 'smashed' but that doesnt detract from the overall great storyline. The introduction of Stark at the end ushers the third one in nicely....come on the mighty green monster.

Starship Troopers: Marauder
by BarryNowhere near as good as the first but one thousand times better than the second...........bugs have gone all CGI...Shame.
Hey, you should just about see this! Hes looking old, the bugs are far too few to mention and the acting is crap. That coupled with fact they all find 'religeon' I struggled to stay awake. Watchable if there isnt anything else in.

The Ruins
by BarryI could just about enjoy this right up until he talking plants popped up.....Not a 'bad' movie by any means and pretty gory in parts but Vincent price did the scarey plant movie so much better almost forty years ago.
Hey, you should probably see this if your car has broken down, the store is shut and your mates have all cancelled a night out on you.! Its actually not too bad at all but I found it more of a time filler than a true spine chiller...........

The Happening
by BarryBeleive it or not this movie was really enjoyable. Not as good as others of the same genre and Wallberg needs to get his voice fixed but Shamalamadingdong has done it again. An all round good flick.
Hey, you should really see this! M Night has made quite a few movies recently and has had a bit of bad press but I am yet to be properly dissapointed. The premis of this movie is simple......we have ruined everything and the planet aint happy. Simple enough and well written to boot. Shame Wahlberg was acting like a bit of a wimp but we cant have everything.

Superhero Movie
by BarryShame...it really is but even with the presence of the comedy god Neilson this movie was overall seriously dissapointing.
Hey, you should only see this if there is bugger all else left in the store! I was so dissapointed with this one. Even with Neilson and some of his better comedy tactics couldnt drag a full belly laugh out of me. Dont get me wrong, I did titter several times but that was it.
