My Favorite Movies

Some of the CGI in this movie is as bad as in "A Sound of Thunder." As for the story, well it's the first vampire movie I've seen with little to no vampirism going on. It gets credit for originality and color coordination, except for that very last scene with all the shipping containers.

The only time anyone is dressed appropriately in this movie is when they do the time travel thing, even though I don't really mind the whole 20s era suit and fedora look. As for the story, who cares I watch scifi movies for eye candy but the time wave thing was a decent concept. Even though the CGI sucked I give it credit for trying.

Almost like a twisted wannabe version of Event Horizon. It was still worth watching but the whole climax point of the movie just gets out of control. Sadly I'd have to say Paul Anderson's rendition rings more authentic.

It's a decent scifi flick but killing all the interesting characters just made me angry by the end of the movie. I still don't understand the whole story behind the two main characters at the end.

What's with everybody's voice in this movie? I mean the nemesis character was fine until I heard him talk and then was like wondering if this was for real. What happened to the low raspy voice that's supposed to strike fear in me? For crying out load, he sounds like a clown.

Jeez listening to the mother in this movie was painful. Sure she had a reason to be upset but everything she said was terribly worded. She might as well have killed her husband while she was looking for her son. Way too much contradiction on her part.

Damn that woman can scream, I actually was hoping she'd get killed. Whatever, very cool post-apocalyptic flick even if the plot leaves you thinking WTF. Crazy death bot - check, annoying screaming woman - check, crazy dope drugs - check, and lots of random metal crap everywhere - big check.
