This Film essay is a work of genius Chris marker and is nothing short of a masterpiece as it explores the world visually and narrates brialliantly.

Probably Tarkovsky's best work. In this he achieves what he felt he failed in Solaris, and that is creating a film with science fiction elements without being put into the genre. This is a truly thought provoking, beautifully photographed, metaphysical masterpiece directed by a true genius.

Great,Great,Great film. This is Ingmar Bergmans only horror film in which he brings this stylized, psychological creepiness to a whole new level. Alma (Liv Ullmann) speaking directly to the camera tell us of the disappearance of her husband, artist Johan Borg (Max von Sydow) in one his best roles ever as he (through readings of his journal) is seen to confront memories and demons. This is probably Bergmans most personal film and my new favorite of his.

This is a beautiful character driven, love story set during a post apocalyptic future where humans are hunted down for their meat. Check it out.

The Elephant Man is a charming, and soulful film about the human condition and beauty.

Frederick Treves(Anthony Hopkins) is a surgeon in 19th century England who discovers John Merrick(John Hurt) a disfigured man violently forced to be put on public display as a circus freak under the name of "The Elephant Man." Treves rescues him and takes him back to the hospital to care for him and protect him from his former cruel owner.

It cant be said enough that David Lynch is a genius when it comes to film making.
