    5.0 Stars by Inez
After 700 years of doing what he was built for - he'll discover what he's meant for.

    DIRECTED BY: Andrew Stanton
STARRING: Ben Burtt, Elissa Knight, Jeff Garlin, Fred Willard, MacInTalk, John Ratzenberger, Sigourney Weaver (all voice)

    Synopsis

Disney and Pixar join forces for this computer-animated tale about a wide-eyed robot who travels to the deepest reaches of outer space in search of a newfound friend. The year is 2700, and planet Earth has long been uninhabitable. For hundreds of years, WALL-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) has been taking out the trash, and collecting precious knick-knacks in order to stave off the boredom of his dreary routine. Little does WALL-E realize that he has recently stumbled onto a secret that could save planet Earth, and once again make the ravaged planet safe for all humankind. When highly advanced search robot EVE makes friends with WALL-E and realizes the value of his remarkable discovery, she excitedly races back to let the humans know that there's hope for their home planet after all. But after centuries alone in space, WALL-E can't stand the thought of losing the only friend he's ever known, and eagerly follows her into the deepest reaches of space on the adventure of a lifetime. Along the way, the friendly trash-collecting robot who has always known what he was made for gradually begins to understand what he was meant for.

    My Review

I'm sorry for adding this here before, but I am very pissed that one of the local magazine gave The Dark Knight 4 stars, and gave last summer disappoinment Hancock 5 stars?? I mean, uh, I don't know how to describe it.

Okay, back to the movie itself, Wall-E. When I watched this movie, I found that apparently these days, computer has something more REAL than what a human can deliver. May I give a conclusion about last summer's result. The best goes to The Dark Knight dan Wall-E.

The statement which said that Wall-E is the best animated summer movie is simply dull. This animated MASTERPIECE (yes, I DARE to say that) is more than just an aimated creatures in the screen who entertain, that's not what it made for. See, Wall-E was released in the perfect time where we should questions people's humanity about littering, and most of all, about a love, telling all us that all of us can give some love.

Yes, Kung-Fu Panda entertained us somewhere 2 months ago, but Wall-E proves that little creatures with little dialogs can show many to the viewers what the movie made of, and made for. Not only to mock the familia of Meet Dave, Norbit, Date Movie, Superhero Movie, Epic Movie (well, you get the point), but Wall-E also made for something deeper that just watching movies, and besides the go green part which I fully support, but an entertainment to TOUCH EVERYONE, AND MAKE SOME DIFFERENCE TO OUR SKEPTICALS IN LOVE.

    Eeeeeva?

    -Wall-E-

    A masterpiece of its kind.
