Personally I consider this, rather than Citizen Kane, to be Orson Welles' greatest film. Incredible cinematography: perhaps the greatest opening shot of any movie, masterful use of light and shadow, dazzling tracking shots... all that and a brilliant acting performance by Welles as a personification of reptilian evil.
I really enjoyed this movie. Great action, brilliant FX, and a zany sense of humor. The love hexagon drags at times, but other than that a fantastic popcorn movie!
Just never quite got into this one. Its fun, but I think Tim Burton (while otherwise quite good) just doesn't get comic books or Batman. And Michael Keaton just comes off as to nice of a guy. Personally: I think Batman Begins is the first time Batman has actually been done right on the big screen.
One of the all time great noirs. Bogart at his best, some great supporting characters, and an utterly opaque plot from Raymond Chandler and Howard Hawks what more can you ask for? =)
