Kori Gilliam (volatilegemini)

I have no idea why this movie has so many bad reviews - I guess I really AM estranged from humanity, because I thought the acting was great, the plot was inspired, the special effects were beautiful, and the cinematography was brilliant.

I really don't like it when I am forced to research a confusing time paradox - especially after watching an indie movie. At least with Hollywood movies, I can justify it by saying "Oh well, at least it had Jake Gylenhall in it. I guess that makes this worth the effort." I'm not a stupid woman, but by god if the ending of this movie didn't confuse the shit out of me. I shouldn't have to look up info written by rude pre-pubescents on imdb.com.

That said, if you go into this movie assuming that you can move forwards and backwards in time once you are dead, this movie is easy to understand. The acting is terrible (except for the Storyteller and Ink), but the video editing and cinematography is AWESOME. And I can't say enough about the character concept and design for the Incubi - how awesome are those screen mask things?!

All in all, I'd say it's worth the rental fee.

This movie is absolute perfection. My all-time favorite. AMAZING!!!!
