I want to see it for a very long time.. It's better than i expected!! The plot is not so perfect but i think it's a good beginning for a good director!!
The story is so fantasy but really interesting in the same time. Good visual work!! I love how M. Night shoot this movie.. from shot to shot were great edited for storytelling!! The tempo is great. Even the movie is not a action or real kinda thriller.. it's so fun and really enjoyable!! This movie excites me from the beginning with great visual work (different from ordinary Hollywood movies) and mysterious mood.. If you haven't seen it!! don't miss it for any reason!! |

Philip Seymour Hoffman is so great!! His character is the heart of this movie. Because i never heard of this movie, i thought it's suck!! but it's not.. Believe in Sidney Lumet. He never let us down!! |

Great movie of morality!! The movie is Superb like the first part(Jean de Florette). Real masterpiece series from France!! Yves Montand is a wonderful character!!
Jean de Florette i feel like i'm a god watching thier life. But Manon of the spring is more obvious drama. invite you to be one of the villagers. Even i feel a little too much pressure sometime i still love this movie!! When good and bad collide, When the truth was reveal. The confrontations in the movie are so serious and beat my heart like a drum!! This movie is not for anyone who haven't seen "Jean de Florette" you must see the first part before this movie. I cry for both parts.. One of the great movies i will never forget!!! |

Teacher and parents have to work together for building good children. The desperation of Kevin Kline in the movie is a very sad story. Watch yourself are we good or bad.. think of good things they tought you.. have we reach that yet. oh yes they will never know how are you now? but sure that good teachers never forget their student.. do we forget them? |

Long time ago, after the Potemkin.. weeks later i watched this movie in class. This is the real classic too.. you can learn many thing from this movie.. as much as you learn from Potemkin. THe real newly camera angles at the time. Being the camera classical textbook for all generation.. if you really interestin' in film making or film history. This is the must see for any reason!!
I still can remember what Vertov did with trains in the city, with mirror, with a room, with the creative time transition and ETC. This is real masterpiece in world cinema** |

I see what lies inside of your movies since King of Comedy, Hail the Judge or Kung Fu Hustle. And someday you'll be the great Director in your own way!!
This is a good movie.. if you don't just waiting for the same old laugh you used to!! Stephen still have good sense of humour.. not a big laugh but intelligence!! your story line is always interesting and unique.. Don't miss this.. one of the independent movie of a director!! |
