Speed Racer - PG Total unrestrained love of the source material by the directors made this film one of the best and most misunderstood films of 2008. If you want to feel like a joyous child again, check this movie out. December 30, 2008

Taken - PG-13 Liam Neeson can and will kick your ass. One of the best films of 2008, that hardly anyone has seen. Fox continues to prove itself the most incompetent studio in Hollywood by repeaditly delaying the US release of this film. December 30, 2008

Eagle Eye - PG-13 I really really HATED this movie. Starts out promising then just goes to absolute shit in the second act after the big "reveal". December 29, 2008

Son of Rambow - PG-13 Friendship and the love of film collide in one of the most charming movies I have seen in a very long time. This is a regular watch for me now. December 29, 2008

The Foot Fist Way - R Cringe comedy at its very best. Very funny, and very uncomfortable. December 29, 2008

Slumdog Millionaire - R Maybe I am just too cynical, but this movie annoyed me a tad. Why chase a girl around for your entire life when she acts so helpless and continuously craps on you? It wasn't love motivating this kid, it was stupidity. Boyle is at the top of his game though. The mediocre story is beatifully told, and makes the filthy and impoverished India tragic and beautiful. Låt den Rätte Komma In (Let the Right One in) - R I really loved this film. Frightening, bizzare, and wonderfully charming. Easily one of my favorites this year. December 29, 2008

Seven Pounds - PG-13 Big Willie Styles tries his damndest for that Best Actor Oscar. "Aww Hell NO!" Yawn. December 29, 2008

Milk - R Gay Good. Bigot Bad. Interesting story with tragic end. Gus Van Sant is at his gayest best here. Did i mention this film was really gay? :P December 29, 2008

Magicians - Unrated December 29, 2008

Iron Man - PG-13 Fun, but could have been so much better. Yes, its more of a setup for future films, but I would have liked a little more of Tony Stark's dark genius and a little less slapstick. December 29, 2008

The Dark Knight - PG-13 Perfect. A film that captures the Batman comics in their most pure form. Trumps "Batman Begins" in every catagory. December 29, 2008

WALL-E - G Beautiful, Charming, Poignant. December 29, 2008

Kung Fu Panda - PG Terrific film. Loved the homage to the classic Shaw Brothers films. December 29, 2008

Cloverfield - PG-13 Awe-some. A film where the cliche, "Edge of your seat"completely applies. December 29, 2008

JCVD (Van Dammage) - R Thank your Jean-Claude. Thank you for this film, and thank you for your apology. It hit me hard. Welcome back to the big time. I hope you make the films you always wanted to from now on. December 29, 2008

Rambo (Rambo IV) - R LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR! Who said extreme violence wasn't fun? Only problem I had with the film was it was so over the top (no pun intended) that at times i thought I was watching Weird Al's Rambo spoof from "UHF". December 29, 2008

Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Hellboy 2) - PG-13 I expected alot more from this sequel. The script was a little weak, and the direction felt lazy. Fun, but forgettable. December 29, 2008
