this was the first film to make my jaw drop. i'd never enjoyed a movie that made me think about it's artistic merits before. when i saw this it made me into a mindblown tarantino worshipping freak. everyone that came to my house HAD to watch this. i wasn't taking no for an answer. and to most of my friends credit, they were thankful for it.
