The movie does have some great effects, the thrills were non-stop and executed brilliantly. But the storyline is seriously lacking. (It underestimates the human mind in a ridiculous way!! )..."The Earth is invaded by alien tripod fighting machines!!" YOU can't be serious??!!! This is VERY SILLY!!!
The end was so disappointing. It came a bit suddenly and with perhaps not quite enough explanation and too little imagination!! We have just seen the destruction of millions of humans, but Cruise was able to make it to Boston!! Ohh and his son survived too!! After this horrible attack, this one family is reunited in a major city?!! (SORRY, but am I suppose to believe this??!!) As I said too little imagination!! However it must be said that Dakota Fanning blew everyone else away. She is one of the most talented actresses I've ever seen. Finally I have to admit that this movie has a lot of good moments that got my attention. It's an excellent entertainment. |

Firstly , I thought this movie is like any other movie talks about dogs and how cute they are !! .. But I have to say that this movie changed the way I look to animals in general ....
The story is soo realistic and believable .. I like the way this movie shows how life can be changeable .. This movie allows us to go through some joyful and some stressful times !! It's a nice family movie :).. I really like it !! |
