It is not 100% the anime however this movie ROCKED!!! I love this movie; it is a fun, fun ride with really cool twists. Light Yagami and L are awesome and Ryuk is fricken amazing!!!! You don't even need to be familiar with the anime as the movie covered the story from the very beginning. A must see & tons of fun!

This is going to be an awesome movie! It is going to be a little different from the book since the book is written from Bella's point of view and she doesn't always see what is going on. I know Stephenie Meyer's completely approves of this movie and if she is excited, I am definitely excited!!!!

Eagle Eye

Shia is shown in a more mature role than Transformers,I really like him as an actor,I think he can really go far as long as he stays on the straight and narrow.Anyway this movie is intense!! Billy Bob Thornton was awesome as well.Definitely recommending this one for the action fans!! =)

Little Children
by Antonya mice movie. not quite what i though before seeing it. but like gossip, things can go wrong or turn a different way when least expecting. it alæl starts innocent enough, but leads into something very complicated and in the end normalty returns..its ok harmless entertainment. winslet is tops as usual

by Antonyon half as good as nr 1. the sense of humour has been lost in all that romance and the effects for me were taken a little too far. the story was ok but the ending for me was weak and disappointing. never mind maybe 3 will be better, im sure there will be a nr3

Babylon A.D.
by MontySave the planet. Whenever I've read that bumper sticker I've had to laugh. Save the planet. What for? And from what? From ourselves? Life's simple: kill or be killed, don't get involved and always finish the job. A survivor's code, my code, and it all sounds great until the day you find yourself confronted by a choice. A choice to make a difference, to help someone, or to walk away and save yourself. I learned something that day: you can't always walk away. Too bad it was the day I died.
I'm usually not much for bashing a bad movie but here goes.
Take Mad Max, Jhonny Mnemonic, The Fifth Element, Children of Men, xXx, Pitch Black and Blade Runner. Mix well, then dumb it down a few nudges and you'll get Babylon A.D.
Flixster - Share Movies
The movie started out well but it's like they ran out of steam the closer they got to the end/anticlimax. It's based on a book, so you might want to look that one up later, the story has a lot of potential and it might have become a nice cross between Children of Men and Blade Runner in the right hands. The script is quite inconsistent and the production itself feels like it should have been handled by someone else.

Vin Diesel does his standard anti-hero performance as seen in many of his other films with perhaps a slightly darker tone this time.

Did Milla Jovovich turn down the supporting role so they had to use a girl who looks just like her? Or is she simply getting too old? Aurora is almost as inconsistent as the script, being an enhanced human being with the ability to process information like a computer she is really good at running off doing stupid, completely incoherent things, and being a whiney crybaby in general.

Props to Gerard Depardieu who makes a brief appearance as a slimy russian mobster, I'm not saying he does the part well, it's more like comic relief. Sepultura makes a welcome appearance on the soundtrack during a cage fight scene, that's always nice.
On a final note; the Neolite leader might end up on a future "badly portrayed movie villains" list from me.
Why the two star rating? I like dystopian movies and it's not so bad if you're prepared for it.Hey there, you should probably avoid this.

My Best Friend's Girl
by .:SexiVixxENpretty funny,I still love Dane.Jason Biggs, Kate Hudson round out this funny little comedy .Think of Hitch with Will Smith with reversed intentions lol.Actually Dane plays a total ass on this movie.Pretty funny but probably should wait for dvd with this one =)
