A fun zombie road trip movie that zooms off the starting grid, but loses it's way in the middle. Thankfully the movie picks up for a satisfying ending. Definitely worth a watch, but it's no Shawn of the Dead.
A beautiful film with some very adult themes. You will laugh, you will cry and in the end, you'll marvel at the genius of Pixar. Nobody does it better.
Worth watching for the excellent character development and interplay, but not a whole lot more. The plot, as it is, is pretty disappointing and Dumbledore's demise isn't handled as well as it should have been.
I like Tarantino movies, but I love Inglourious Basterds. The script oozes class, the actors deliver in spades, the cinematography, editing and soundtrack enhance the experience. It is probably Tarantino's masterpiece and he knows it, or at least he does if the final line is anything to go by.
A deserved remake that does a great job of updating the original movie, which had aged badly. Be warned, this movie contains the most uncomfortable rape scene I've seen since Irreversible. Also a scary movie you don't need to leave your brain at the door for.
A highly predictable and decidely medicore movie, much like the first. Hanks does his best, but is ultimately miscast in a role that requires far more charisma. How I would love to have seen McGregor and Hanks swap roles, but ultimately this a thriller with no thrill.
Enjoyable if ultimately vapid experience, but the plot is interesting enough with a few creepy moments and wonderful SFX of planet destruction. Cage as always is decidedly average.
A hilarious and shocking expose on some of the more interesting and prejudice elements in American society. You'll be picking your jaw up off the floor while you roll in the aisles.
As a Transformers fan the movie disappoints with it's inability to create strong robot characters and there is still too much of a penchant for fast action closeups. However, don't let detract from what is an enjoyable experience aimed squarely at the young teen market, but with enough going on to keep adults interested.
Hilarious, touching, surprising and bizarre all in one. Plus a career best acting performance from Van Damne which might elevate him to greater things.
A terribly unintelligent screenplay that tries to do too much in too little time and some awful casting makes for a pretty woeful addition to the Terminator franchise. As a film on it's own it's decidedly average popcorn fare and one I should have passed on seeing at the cinema. Worthington, Yelchin and Fake Arnie aside, there's very little to enjoy here. Terminator Retardation would have been a more fitting title.
