It was okay. I thought they tried to explain a lot in the beginning about why Max was such a buster... then half way through the movie I think the writer must have quit. Or they at least stopped trying to explain why everything was so lame and depressing.

I'd watch it again, the puppets were awesome. Thinking about it was where I went wrong.

All of the movies I love seem to have one awful scene in them that stands between me and five stars. In this movie it was that stupid ass story about the kid who barfs to prove some sort of lame ass point. I always fast forward through that scene.

Beautiful! I always pop this movie in when I'm knitting. This movie made me fall in love with all of its actors. Especially Alan Rickman and Kate Winslet. Although Emma Thompson kicks so much freaking ass.
