Away We Go

This could have made more of an impact. All the elements were there, but it failed on some level. For this type of movie (maybe compare it to, say, the feeling of "Garden State"), the protagonists have to be very likable/endearing. And it's not that Bert and Verona were unlikable, but it wasn't until the last fifteen minutes that I really started rooting for them. For all their screen time, prior to that it wasn't really about them--more about these very odd characters they interacted with. If it wasn't for the stoller scene and the trampoline scene, this may well have been in the 1-2 star range.
