I want to see it for the sake of the book... The book is brilliant, but I'm not so sure about the movie. Like, John C Riley as Larten Crepsley??? That's a bad casting, if you ask me. Leave it to hollywood to ruin a good english book... Now I know why JK rowling determined for Harry Potter movie to be made by locals (who can actually appreciate the book, and interpret it better). And worst of all, they cramp three series into one film. I bet there will be several jumps here and there. I just saw the trailer and pretty disappointed about many changes in the film. I really do love the book, but I don't think there will be a second movie for this one...

It holds a very good storyline, but not for animation...
