Friday the 13th

Marcus Nispel scores again with another remake of a cult/horror film.This remake is my favorite slasher film.Nispel camera work at times is stunning.Is such a well made film with great score,editing,death scenes & some outstanding effects.Only thing that could've been done,is to go back a little,just to show Jason story as a kid,but it was a fast pace film & straight to the point.I can see the approach for this new version,just having Jason taking care of business.It was brutal in Crystal Lake.Best one of the Friday the 13th saga.Brutal!!!

Infestation plot is simple & it has few decent moments,but it has a good cast & Chris Marquette as the leading actor stands out with his performance that seems to be right for this type of film.This is not a big studio film,but the CGI effects are great.Did like the look of people turning into half bug & half human,looking like zombie insects.Not a great film,but entertaining for the most part.

Underworld: The Rise of the Lycans

If you seen the first Underworld,then you know that this prequel didn't really added that much to the story but still an interesting one.The film goes at a fast pace & bloody enough to keep me entertain.The action sequences could've been better.A good addition to the Underworld franchise but i still enjoy the previous ones better.

If you really thinking of watching a horror film in the theater.Skip "The Unborn" & go for "Bloody Valentine".

The Unborn

Most of the creepy stuff was shown on the trailer.The film is not scary at all,without good performances & the plot is mediocre.Gary Oldman was probably thinking of the paycheck,but didn't needed to be part of this cast.Is just a terrible horror film. David Goyer should keep writing stuff for superhero films,which seems to work for him,besides directing Blade:Trinity & The Unborn,he should stay away from horror films.

After what i read & been told,i'm sure the 3D version is a thrill ride.Will love to see this on 3D.Bloody Valentine remake is brutal & fun to watch.Horror fans will have a blast.

My Bloody Valentine 3-D

Not much of a good story & didn't care how things turn out tours the end,but besides that,everything else works.From start to finish,this film delivers non stop bloody action,gore,big body count,awesome death kills & great score.Way better than the original.I didn't get around to see this on 3D,otherwise i probably would've gave this a higher rating.

Eden Lake

Eden Lake is a well done film about a couple who are terrorized by some violent teenagers in a forest.The film delivers few graphic scenes & good performances by the cast.I enjoy this film,which it was heading for a good conclusion with a interesting scenario but unfortunately the ending was disappointing.Is a must see for horror fans.
