The Big Lebowski (1998, R)
The mood in this movie is so laid back that I can always return to it just to relax or have it in the background. I quote this movie daily. The story is over complex on purpose, so those watching it shouldn't be frustrated when they get to the ending. The soundtrack is phenomenal in my opinion and I found some of my favorite tracks of all time through the film. Also, this movie always makes me want to go bowling. Definitely a favorite of mine. |

Saw it last night, I just can't believe how incredibly good it was. I don't know what else to say about it. It's violent, sad, tense, and thrilling. All roles were played phenomenally. The story didn't fit any modern molds and the ending is like having a door slammed in your face. Can't wait to see it again. |
