Blood and violence and awesome. Oh, but the story contradicts itself with the whole 'We are free!' thing yet they have to listen to the ephors and send their most beautiful women up to those mutants and stuff. Doesn't sound very free to me. |

| There Will Be Blood - R | Alright, first hour or so of the movie, hated it. It reminded me of Death Proof's (from the Grindhouse duo) long, slow, tedious buildup. But oh, dear god, the movie is a masterpiece once you realize what it's building up to. The slow start is completely necessary in order to make the rest of the movie as effective and compelling. | No Country for Old Men - R | Saw it last night, I just can't believe how incredibly good it was. I don't know what else to say about it. It's violent, sad, tense, and thrilling.
