More fav quotes: Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl Jack: 'Mr Cotton, do you have the courage and fortitude to follow orders and stay true in the face of danger and almost certain death? Mr Cotton. Answer, man!' Gibbs: 'He's a mute, sir.' Jack Sparrow: The only rules that really matter are these: what a man can do and what a man can't do. For instance, you can accept that your father was a pirate and a good man or you can't. But pirate is in your blood, boy, so you'll have to square with that some day. And me, for example, I can let you drown, but I can't bring this ship into Tortuga all by me onesies, savvy? So, can you sail under the command of a pirate, or can you not? Jack Sparrow: [to Weatherby Swann] I think we've all arrived at a very special place. Spiritually, ecumenically, grammatically. Jack Sparrow: I want you to know that I was rooting for you. Know that. [to Commodore Norrington] Jack Sparrow: Elizabeth... it would never have worked between us darling. I'm sorry... Will... nice hat. Friends... This is the day that you will ALWAYS remember as the day that you... [backs up and trips over ledge] Jack Sparrow: [looking at all the swords] Who makes all these? Will Turner: I do. And I practice with them three hours a day. Jack Sparrow: You need to find yourself a girl mate. Or perhaps the reason you practice three hours a day is that you already found one, and are otherwise incapable of wooing said strumpet. You're not a eunuch are you? Will Turner: I practice three hours a day, so when I meet a pirate, I can kill it. Barbossa: So you expect to leave me standing on some beach with nothing but a name and your word it's the one I need and watch you sail away on my ship? Jack Sparrow: No. I expect to leave you standing on some beach with absolutely no name at all, watching me sail away on my ship and then I'll shout the name back to you. Savvy? Barbossa: But that still leaves us with the problem of me standing on some beach with naught but a name and your word it's the one I need. Jack Sparrow: Of the two of us I am the only one who hasn't committed mutiny, therefore my word is the one we'll be trusting. Although, I suppose I should be thanking you because in fact, if you hadn't betrayed me and left me to die, I would have an equal share in that curse same as you. [bites into an apple] Jack Sparrow: Funny ol' world, innit? [offers him an apple] Jack Sparrow: Now... bring me that horizon. [humming] Jack Sparrow: "And really bad eggs." Drink up me 'earties. Yo ho. [snaps compass shut] Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Davy Jones: You are neither dead nor dying. What is your purpose here? Will Turner: [quickly] Jack Sparrow sent me to settle his debt. Davy Jones: What is your purpose here? Will Turner: Jack Sparrow? Sent me to settle his debt? Davy Jones: [Laughs] Did he, now? I'm sorely tempted to accept that offer. Will Turner: [gestures to drawing of key] You want me to find this? Jack Sparrow: No. *You* want you to find this. Because the finding of this finds you incapacitorially finding and/or locating in your discovering the detecting of a way to save your bonny lass, ol' what's-er-face. Tia Dalma: Davey Jones cannot make port, cannot step on land but once every ten years. Land is where you are safe Jack Sparrow. And so you will carry land with you. [hands Jack a jar of dirt] Jack Sparrow: Dirt. This is a jar of dirt. Tia Dalma: Yes. Jack Sparrow: Is the jar of dirt going to help? Tia Dalma: If ya don't want it. Give it back. Jack Sparrow: [turns away, hugging jar to his chest] No. Tia Dalma: Then it helps. Jack Sparrow: [With his back to Elizabeth, thinking that she is a man] Come to join my crew, lad? Welcome aboard! Elizabeth Swann: I'm here to find the man I love. Jack Sparrow: [Startled] Deeply flattered, boy, but my first and only love is the sea. Elizabeth Swann: Meaning William Turner, Captain Sparrow. Jack Sparrow: [Turning around] Elizabeth! [to Gibbs] Jack Sparrow: Hide the rum. Tia Dalma: Would you do it? What would you... Hm? What would any of you be willing to do, hm? Would you sail to the ends of the Earth and beyond to fetch back witty Jack and him precious Pearl? Will Turner: What vexes all men? Tia Dalma: What, indeed. Gibbs: Well, the sea! Pintel: Sums! Ragetti: The dichotomy of good and evil. Jack Sparrow: A woman. Tia Dalma: A woman. He fell in love. Gibbs: No, no, no, no. I heard it was the sea he fell in love with. Tia Dalma: Same story, different versions and all are true. See it was a woman, as changing and harsh and untameable as the sea. Him never stopped loving her. But the pain had caused him was too much to live with, but not enough to cause him to die. Will Turner: What exactly did he put into the chest? Tia Dalma: Him heart. Ragetti: Literally or figuratively? Pintel: He couldn't literally put his heart in a chest. [pause] Pintel: Could he? Tia Dalma: It was not worth feeling what small, fleeting joy life brings. And so him carved out him heart, lock it away in a chest and hide the chest from the world. The key, he keep with him at all times. Jack Sparrow: No worries! Tia Dalma and I go way back... thick as thieves, nigh inseparable we are... were... have been... before... Gibbs: I'll watch yer back. Jack Sparrow: It's me front I'm worried about. Gibbs: [to Will] Mind the boat. Will Turner: [to Ragetti] Mind the boat. Ragetti: [to Pintel] Mind the boat. Pintel: [to Marty] Mind the boat. Marty: [to Cotton's parrot] Mind the boat. Cotton's Parrot: [to Cotton] Mind the boat. [It flies off, leaving Cotton to pout and sit back down in the boat] Tia Dalma: If you go and brave da weird and haunted shores at world's end, then you will need a captain who knows dose waters. Barbossa: [Boot steps approach] ... So, tell me, what's become of my ship? Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Jack Sparrow: Cuttlefish... eh... let us not, dear friends, forget our dear friends the cuttlefish... bind them up together and they'll devour themselves without a single thought... Human nature, in'it? Ooor... rather fish nature... So yes... we could hold up here well-provisioned and well-armed... and half of us would be dead within the month! Which seems grim to me no matter how you slice it! Or as my learned colleague so naively suggested, we can release Calypso, and God-willing, she will show us mercy... I rather doubt it. Can we pretend that she will be anything less than a woman scorned, like the fury which Hell hath no? We cannot. And so, we are left with but one option. I agree with, and I cannot believe the words that are coming out of me mouth... Captain Swann. Jack Sparrow: [examining the map] Up is down. That's just maddingly unhelpful. Why are these things never clear? Miniature Jack 1: [voice] Clear as mud, Jackie... Jack Sparrow: What? Eh? Miniature Jack 1: [appearing from Jack's left dreadlocks] Stab the heart. Miniature Jack 2: [appearing from Jack's right dreadlocks] Don't stab the heart. Jack Sparrow: Come again? Miniature Jack 2: The Dutchman must have a captain... Jack Sparrow: Well that's even more than less than unhelpful. Miniature Jack 1: Sail the seas for eternity. Jack Sparrow: [smiling] I love the sea... Miniature Jack 2: What about port? Jack Sparrow: I prefer rum... Rum is good. Miniature Jack 2: Making port, where we can get rum and sultry wenches... once every ten years. Miniature Jack 1: What'd he say? Jack Sparrow: Once every ten years. Miniature Jack 1: Ten years is a long time, mate. Jack Sparrow: Even longer, given the deficit of rum. Miniature Jack 1: ...But eternity is longer still. Miniature Jack 2: And how'll you be spending it? Dead? Miniature Jack 1: ...Or not... The immortal Captain Sparrow. Jack Sparrow: Well, I like that. Miniature Jack 2: [looking out to the sea] Come sunset and it won't matter. Jack Sparrow: [realizing] ... Not sunset... Sundown! And Rise... Up! Captain Chevalle: There has not been a king since the first brethren court, and that is not likely to change! Captain Teague: Not likely. Elizabeth Swann: Why not? Gibbs: Because the pirate king is elected by popular vote... Barbossa: ...and each pirate only votes for himself Jack Sparrow: I call for a vote. [Barbossa rolls his eyes as Captain Teague starts playing the guitar] Captain Ammand: I vote for Ammand, the Corsair! Captain Chevalle: Captain Chevalle, the penniless Frenchman! Mistress Ching: Mistress Ching! Captain Jocard: Gentleman Jocard! Elizabeth Swann: Elizabeth Swann. Barbossa: Barbossa. Captain Vallenueva: Captain Vallenueva. [Captain Teague stops playing his guitar] Jack Sparrow: Elizabeth Swann. [the court begins to yell] Elizabeth Swann: What? Jack Sparrow: I know. Curious, isn't it? Jack Sparrow: Nobody move! Dropped me brain. Jack Sparrow: [holding Davy Jones heart] Heady tonic, holding the power of life and death in one's hand. [Scarlett and Giselle are fighting, Jack watches the Pearl sail away] Jack Sparrow: Ladies, will you please shut it! Listen to me. [to Giselle] Jack Sparrow: Yes, I lied to you. [to Scarlett] Jack Sparrow: No, I don't love you. [to Giselle] Jack Sparrow: Of course it makes you look fat. [to Scarlett] Jack Sparrow: I've never been to Brussels. [to Giselle] Jack Sparrow: It is pronounced *egregious*. [to Scarlett] Jack Sparrow: By the way, no. I've never actually met Pizarro, but I love his pies. [to both] Jack Sparrow: And all of this pales to utter insignificance in light of the fact that my ship is once again gone. Savvy? [Giselle slaps him, Scarlett slaps him, he slaps Gibbs] Pintel: No one said anything about cold. Ragetti: I'm sure there must be a good reason for our suffering. Pintel: Why don't that Obeah woman bring Jack back the same way she brought back Barbossa. Tia Dalma: Because Barbossa was only dead. Jack Sparrow is taken body and soul to a place not of death, but of punishment, the worst fate a person can bring upon himself stretching on forever. That's what awaits at Davy Jones' locker. Ragetti: Well I knew there was a good reason. Barbossa: Better were the days when mastery of seas came not from bargains struck with eldritch creatures... but from the sweat of a man's brow and the strength of his back alone. You all know this to be true! Jack Sparrow: Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! |

I love this film. I loved how Joe Jonas was able to play his character so well, and Demi Lovato is very talented. I would see this again anyday.
All the performers in this film have done a brillant job. You can tell that they are really into the film, because of the effort they put into the film to make it a realistic performance all around.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
PG-13
Love it. With a whole range of new characters, Hans Zimmer has not disappointed me with the new variety of music, which is weaved with film sections and show that some of the characters are involved, even though they might be there.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
PG-13
Best pirates ever!!!! I love at World's end to bits, I wanna see it again!!! This film would have been challenging for composer Hans Zimmer, as it would of been alot of different scenes at the same time, which could make it interesting for certain themes to be joined together, e.g. Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones (just an example)
Pride and Prejudice
PG
I think that Joe Wright conveys Pride and Prejudice in such a beautiful way that it is really able to get the audience sucked into the time period that it is set in.
It also flows about he romance that two characters seem to struggle with admitting throughout the entire film. But it is good to watch.

The Penguins & King Julian is the main laughs of this sequel to 2005's Madagascar. Better than the original, more story line, more memorable plots & more laughs, Bernic Mac did a great job portraying as Alex's father Lion. R.I.P Bernie Mac.Hey, you should really see this!

Quantum of Solace
by Austin
DIRECTED BY Marc Forster
STARRING Daniel Craig, Olga Kurylenko, Mathieu Amalric
A Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios Production.
What's This About
A sequel to year 2006 007 reboot Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace continues the story of MI6 secret agent James Bond, haunted by vengeance in the loss of his love Vesper Lynd. 007 faces a mysterious organization which black mailed Vesper to betray Bond.
Story
Quantum is a powerful & secret organization which is conspiring to take control most of the natural resources of the world. Dominic Greene, the leader of the Quantum negotiate with Bolivia Generals to give him a wasted desert, which is however unexpectedly the main source of South American water supply. 007 teams up with Bolivian Secret service agent Camille Montes to stop Quantum from getting it's way. On his way of vengeance & justice, 007 faces the Terrorists, CIA, Police & MI6 itself which doubts him losing control on the loss of his Love.
Actings
Another stone cold performance from Daniel Craig as MI6 agent James Bond, he is undoubtedly the most badass 007 ever seen on screen. Olga Kurylenko also brings a wonderful performance as a Bolivian Secret Agent with her own vendetta in order to avenge her parents death. Mathieu Amalric is without a doubt the best French villain in Bond Movies.
Cinematography
If Marc Forster made his name an anonymous to this Movie, I'll probably think this is a Paul Greengrass' Movie. Apart from the FX shot where 007 & Quantum member fall down onto glasses, most of the shots where done hand held, shaky & fast. But for me who seen REC & Diary Of The Dead in 1 week, it was a child's play for me. I Love the shot at the opening car chase where the Alfa Romero fall out of the road, it was a WTF to me.
The difference with other Bonds
- The iconic shooting sequence is at the end of the Movie.
- No James Bond car, except from Aston Martin at the opening chase sequence.
- And yes, you'll not hear "Bond, James Bond".
Overall
Not as good as Casino Royale but nevertheless the CGI-filled, super advanced 007 I used to hate is now turned back into real deal action figure once again with Daniel Craig.
Afterwords - I always wanted to see Clive Owen as James Bond, but Daniel Craig simply became my Favorite Bond besides Sean Connery.Make more with Daniel Craig & no CGI or super advanced like this, I'll start to like Bond Movies.

[Rec]
by Austin
DIRECTED BY Jaume Balagueró, Paco Plaza
SATRRING Manuela Velasco, Ferran Terraza, Jorge Serrano
A Filmax Studios Production
First Words
The Blair Witch Project meets 28 Days Later in this stylish Spanish thriller made on very low budget. Shaky, scary & realistic, [REC] brings the taste of Horror Movies onto a whole lot of level, like we've never taste before.
What's This About?
Spanish local TV reporter Ángela & her cameraman Pablo follow the crew of Fire fighters to rescue a woman trapped in her apartment. The building is then quarantine by the military & the neighborhood had been locked up without any Warnings. The night used to be silent & peaceful was covered by horrific screams & the midnight TV show changed to the proof of terror.
Cinematography
It's a handy cam Movie, what more you'll need than Shaky & confusing ??? Without a doubt, the camera works at the last scene is priceless, simply brings the chills to the nerves.
Actings
Manuel Bronchud brings a wonderful performance as an ambitious TV reporter who is the main character of the Movie. The remaining cast, from screaming Zombies to the worried Neighborhood, brings adrenaline performances which divides the Movie from good to excellent.
Score
No single Music, not even a whistle. Except from the end credit sequences.
Overall
I gave five stars for it's originality, people may have thought they could make infected Movies like this, but Spanish people converted the dream into reality. Same as last year, simple but stylish "The Orphanage" became my favorite Horror Movie of 2007.
Afterwords - U.S remake this Movie with the name Quarantine after less than one year [REC] was released, sounds weird isn't it ? and critics saying it sucks. So please see [REC] before Quarantine, see it in Cinema or on DVD or whatever, there's nothing better than the Original.I know most of you have seen this, Singapore opens the Movie late & I just want everyone to see it before Quarantine.
