Millennium Actress (Sennen joyû) (2001, PG)
This is yet again, a mostly unheard of anime film. It's a little something out of the norm, but Millenium Actress is a very entertaining movie and deserves the a spot on my heart. The movie starts once a once famous actress is given a special key found on the set that she once worked on. From here, the movie narrates her life story, and even shows her tracking down someone she once helped. This is only skimming the surface of the film, which I recommend to everyone regardless of anime preference. |
