This movie absolutely made my heart melt. Not only was it very entertaining but also informative. I really learned a lot while my heart swelled inside of me. It is not just a war movie, its a wonderful story of the growth of a man who "gave his life for a race". Colonel Robert Gould Shaw is now one my heroes.

I love how you see Shaw grow as a person. At first, he is unable to connect with his black soldiers. He pushes his regiment to its greatest because he knows the horrors of war and the importance of discipline. He also knows that the success of the regiment will change the way Americans view African-Americans. Near the end of the movie , Shaw finally gains respect for his soldiers, earning their respect in return.

It amazes me that such a great, moving film whose main characters are such big names as Denzel Washington, Morgan Feeman and Matthew Broderick can be so under-rated and unknown! This movie is able to give you a connectiong with the characters that is very refreshing.

Even though the ending is terribly sad, I could watch this movie a hundred times! The power of Glory will stay with me forever.

I can't believe how awesome this movie is. I admire M. Night Shyamalan so much. His work is awesome. ITs so passionate. This movie was unlike all others I've ever seen. It doesn't follow any rules, its completely Shyamalan;s work of art. Not only was it creepy and suspenseful but sweet and romantic. I can't express my love for this movie enough!!!!
