My Favorite Movies

This movie absolutely made my heart melt. Not only was it very entertaining but also informative. I really learned a lot while my heart swelled inside of me. It is not just a war movie, its a wonderful story of the growth of a man who "gave his life for a race". Colonel Robert Gould Shaw is now one my heroes.

I love how you see Shaw grow as a person. At first, he is unable to connect with his black soldiers. He pushes his regiment to its greatest because he knows the horrors of war and the importance of discipline. He also knows that the success of the regiment will change the way Americans view African-Americans. Near the end of the movie , Shaw finally gains respect for his soldiers, earning their respect in return.

It amazes me that such a great, moving film whose main characters are such big names as Denzel Washington, Morgan Feeman and Matthew Broderick can be so under-rated and unknown!
This movie is able to give you a connectiong with the characters that is very refreshing.

Even though the ending is terribly sad, I could watch this movie a hundred times!
The power of Glory will stay with me forever.

I can't believe how awesome this movie is. I admire M. Night Shyamalan so much. His work is awesome. ITs so passionate. This movie was unlike all others I've ever seen. It doesn't follow any rules, its completely Shyamalan;s work of art. Not only was it creepy and suspenseful but sweet and romantic. I can't express my love for this movie enough!!!!

I instantly fell absolutely in love with this movie!!!! I loved the story line (I'm definitely going to read the book) I was able to connect with the characters adn I learned how totally awesome Liam Neeson is!!! (Everytime I see him though, I think of Qui-Gon Jin!) Anyway, best movie EVER! Watch it!

"The Dark Knight" is a very dark, creepy, warped movie that seems to go on forever but it is soooooo good! I was completely amazed with it even though its not one of those movies that makes you feel happy or one that so cool that it makes you wish it were real. Everyone I know that has seen it has the same exact reaction; when you leave the movie theatre youre just like "Whoa" And thats it.

The only thing I did not like was the new actress who played Rachel. They couldn't get the other girl to come back? What? I liked the old Rachel a lot better, I didn't like the new girl at all. She seemed to not just change faces but also personality, blah!

Wow! I was very surprised! I sort of expected it to be cheesy and/or boring but it was neither! It is romance which I usually detest but I loved it and it was also had some comic relief making it so enjoyable! Its great that you think Mr. Darcy was a bad guy but then it turns out that he's just misunderstood. I also thought the casting was spectacular...its just really, really great, I love it! Watching it makes me want to wear pretty dresses and go dancing at elegant balls!

Soooo funny! It cracks me up every time and I never get tired of it! The best Pink Panther movie! Peter Sellers is so cool! One of my favorite movies ever!!

A very sweet movie! Don't miss out on it, its so enjoyable! It has a great story, just a perfect movie to watch late at night when you don't feel like going to sleep...

This is a very cool movie, I love the adventure, mystery and history in it, I could watch it over and over and over again! I absolutely love history, its my favorite and this movie just hits the spot. *sigh* its so great!! I cn't wait for the sequel!!!!

I love this movie so much, its got good characters, actors and music. It wasn't very close to the book, but thats okay, because if it was this movie would be very boring. (some people don't like it because they think it is not enough like the classic Disney movie, but this one is soooo much closer to the book and has great effects and acting I was very impressed.) Very entertaining! And Jeremy Sumpter, isn't he cute?

I love it, this movie is just the best! Its very clever, so funny and just very very enjoyable to watch. And the music is absolutely great! Who ever thought of the story line was a genius, its very original. Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow is soooo funny. I love the way he runs! I have nothing bad to say about this movie.

Okay...here is a great movie! If you haven't seen it, I suggest you should, the bestest Harry Potter movie!! This one really grabs your attention, the graphics and scenery is breathtaking...I love how its full of suspence and mystery...Harry Potter Rocks!

So cool! I love it so much and I don't know why! I ususally don't like the singing stuff in movies (actually the singing was the lowest part of the movie) but it was so good!

I still can't believe it! This is the best movie I have ever seen!!! I've never seen (or heard) anything like it, this movie is so sweet and beautiful I'm in shock at how emmensely great it was!!! So sweet it made me cry, but it was a happy sadness, it was indescribable!!!!

Better than the book I think!
Great graphics and funny too! They left out some parts in the book, but that's understandable because there are some parts that are so slow in the book. Definitely more than I expected...I was pleasantly surprised! I love Garrett Hedlund as Murtagh, he's so hot! Renn and I agreed that we can share him but everyone esle...back off!

It was awesome!!!! I really liked it! The only thing is the way the movie was...it kinda seemed like it was just an in between movie, it was like made only to connect the 4th movie with the 6th...do you know what I mean? It was really neat though, I was very entertained! I think they adapted the story from the book very well, I don't think people who have not read the books would be too confused. I really didn't like that Sirius died but I knew it would happen. He has to come back though! There's something with that veil I think! He has to come back and ha and Harry have to live happily ever after!!! ^.^

The first movie in a series like this is always the best. A great movie to open up a great series, I was so delighted by the wonderful characters, story line and graphics! I love LOTR!!

I don't have much to say about this one except...I love LOTR!!! It's a great movie, maybe not as good as the first and third but I'm telling you, they are ALL awesome, if you haven't already, sit on your lazy bum and watch 'em already!

It's an awesome family movie, me and my Dad used to watch it all the time. It's cool! Really funny and just enjoyable to watch, I love baseball movies...

I also have to mention the sets and costumes; the sets were based on photographs taken by terese's sister, Celene, and were exact right down to the cruxifix's and candles. Some of the costumes were actually 100 year old clothes from the period!

(Speaking of preying to saints, it is a common misunderstanding that Catholics worship the saints. Catholics honor saints - we thank God for the gifts He has given them and ask them to prey for us. It is like asking a friend to pray for you when you have a problem. The saints are simply friends in heaven; they are very close to God and know His will. Saint Therese has performed many miraclese from heaven, known because they are accompanied with the scent or gift of roses. She said herself, "I want to spend my heaven doing good on earth."

This movie was so funny! *plugs nose* Oh my gawd!

I loved this movie, it is so awesome! It was a huge leap from the older Batman movies lol. Bruce Wayne and the other characters were given more depth. It really grabbed my attention and kept me wanting more. I'm so excited for The Dark Knight!

One of the coolest superhero movies ever! I absolutely love it. I think its cool that Spider-man never kills anyone, this is the perfect movie!

I'm very unsure if this is he best Spider-man movie or the first one...I'll have to watch both again to see for sure. I like the bad guy in this better, Doc Oc is cool!

I think this was the best Spider-man! It had so many twists and it reveals so much...the villians were the best! I don't get me started on the graphics! The ending was very unpredictable! (Well, the very end with MJ well, that was pretty corny I must admit) I love Spider-man, it has fantasy, violence, drama and comedy all in one!
