This is a very good movie., a real good thriller... one thing as 2 b said though dont go expecting an x files type thing with this.... in any case you should still enjoy it

Tropic Thunder

Tropic Thunder is, simply put, one of the best movies of the summer and easily it's best comedy.

Ben Stiller directs his finest feature and turns in his best performance since Meet the Parents. The film also serves as a a a funny examination of "behind the scenes" Hollywood.

The film is filled with great performances. Along with Stiller, Jack Black turns in his best work in years. But, it's Robert Downey Jr. who manages to steal the show with his sublime work here.

In my opinion, Downey Jr. has had such a good year that Oscar nominations should be flooding in. I'm supporting a Lead nod for his work in Iron Man, but his work here merits serious Best Supporting Actor consideration along with Mr. Ledger's searing performance earlier this summer. He had the best lines of movie, and he looses himself in this character, something that rarely the result of a comedy.

Another performance sure to raise eyebrows in Tom Cruise. Cruise jumpstarts his career once again with a great performance. The elements of satire that he provides through his character is pure genius.

The writing is great too...just beyond hilarious. Some great Hollywood jokes, but then there's also just great humor along the way.

In the end, what this film does best is that it makes fun of everything Hollywood. I commend all the actors, large and small, who took a part in this film knowing very well that what they were making fun of was largely their own lives and careers. It's simply brilliant.

Pineapple Express

Wow...i don't know if I can even come up with a review after all the intelligence I lost from watching this film.

What a horrible film. I never really had a passion to see this film, but a couple of friends were going so I tagged along: BAD CHOICE.

The acting, plot, script...all just terrible. There's been movies done about pot and drugs that are all way better than this.

I do give this film high marks for being the first Apatow-produced film that really transcends it's comedic genre. There's a little bit of action, a little bit of a thriller. Still though, not enough to ever watch this film.

The Dark Knight

Much as been said about this film which I initally agree with but a couple of things I would like to point out is thats its too long although there are loads of ideas brimming through you dont notice. And in a movie devoid of humour its attempts at it are feeble and feels slightly woobly

John Adams

Along with Angels in America, this John Adams series is the best miniseries I've seen.

All the performances are great, with Paul and Laura delivering some of the best work of their career. The supporting cast is also great.

This miniseries provides one with more U.S. history than a whole year of school studies would. What a great achievement.

Be sure to run out and rent this one.
