Fantastic Sci-fi battles, great story, alas poor Wash
3
The Dark Knight (2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight
Best film of 2008. Fantasically well paced. The best paced film I have ever seen. The plot was complex, but not overly so, the Joker could have been a bit...funnier, Bale could have been a bit less croaky. I wanted Wayne manor and the Batcave, but I'm picky. It. Was. Fantastic.
4

8
The Nines (2007,  R)
The Nines
A weird but brilliant film to contest D(wonnie Darko, but (without giving too much away) I feel the 'answer' to the question posed in this movie is too easy and simple- I was looking for something different and not so dull, that makes you question how little of the movie actually points to the answer. Hm. Not that clear, but see this brilliant movie, anyways!
9
The Butterfly Effect (2004,  R)
The Butterfly Effect
Amazing flim! Ashton Kutcher was (surprisingly) brilliant, as were the rest of the cast! The plot was fantastic (if a bit...odd) and the pace was fast (perhaps a bit too fast?). 'Mazin'!!!!!!

This film is BRILLIANT!
The best film I have seen all year, and a firm fave! The cast are excellent, the plot is okay- there are some changes (that I didn't like), but shivers went down my spine nearly EVERY time a Transformer appeared/talked/etc!!Never gets old.
