this movie is one of the most charming pictures ever made.. Brilliant. Love the innocence of it, so much that I've dressed up as Amélie Poulain for a costume party

this movie is a must-see for everyone. The story is excellent and the performances are some of the best you can imagine..

I watched this movie numerous times, and it's still very dear to me. It's such a pure story which makes me shed tears everytime i see it.. Penn is really showing off in terms of talent, while Pfeiffer and Fanning deliever memorable performances too.

This is one of the best movies I've watched in the last years.. It's incredible! It has nerve, great story-telling, you're never left bored, the leading actors truly deliever trustworthy performances.. I especially love when Sibel kinda of "transform" into Cahit when he's doing time, there's something very special about that part of the movie..

Raw, violence, black&white, french, ghetto-life, guns, deaths, hatred = SO POWERFUL

Though it was very difficult to watch, it was most certainly worth it.. It's very rare that a movie makes me cry but this one did..

This was one of the cases where I actually saw the movie before I read the book. And I probably wouldn't have fallen head over heels with this hilarious movie if I knew the books well enough (I refuse to watch the Harry Potter-movies because the first one was too disappointing for me, 'cause when you're a fan of something you pay attention to the details and thereby you're let down most times when an adaption of a book gets produced).. So this movie was probably that AMAZING because I didn't have my own vision of any of the characters and because I wasn't able to point out all the things the directors left out.. The movie has some very remarkable scenes that I won't soon forget, for example when you get to the factory/warehouse where they built planets, it's so stunningly done. And then I can't forget about the gloomy robot Marvin, he's priceless!!

The whole story in itself is very peculiar and it's hard not to keep philosophizing about this "backward"-man's life. It's a brilliant cast, Pitt and Blanchett are just flawless.
