I wholeheartedly believe that not only did this magnificent movie live up to Frank Miller's graphic novel, but also lived up to the Spartans' honour and glory as free men and women.

This movie is a great spectacle. It isn't beautiful just for it's blooshed, but also that it tells the myth, or rather, the legend of those 300 brave men fighting for their freedoms.

The choreography, lighting, other visuals, the audio, and last but not least the script for this epic made it into a masterpiece.

On one side, you have King Leonidas and his Spartan brothers fighting the Persians to remain free. On the other side there is Queen Gorgo doing her duty as a Spartan by facing the Spartan Council, giving an emotionally extravagent speach and all the while ever persistant in her motion for all of Sparta to defend it's wonderous freedoms.

My only hope now is, that for those unknowledgable about such a historic situation, would be for them to have a new drive to learn about our histories, where we come from, and how people died for certain rights or ideals we take for granted to this day.
