Yuuka Tone (yuuka)

A simple and sweet story about learning to balance the value of both developing new things and treasuring the old. The bird mimicking scene was probably my favourite. Everyone said it was so great and it gave me a good ride, but I think The Incredibles is still emotionally my favourite.

Satirical humour. This film makes use of slapstick gags yet at the same time tries to make an intelligent statement about the politics of war and big business. The "final boss" bit was hilarious even while the protagonist`s backstory was trite. If this movie wasn`t meant to be take itself seriously, then I would say it was great fun and well executed in general.

I thought Hilary Duff`s Yonica had some pretty good hit songs!

I know this movie as Mimi wo Sumaseba. It`s a beautiful love story between two young people. Very pure and sweet. I hate most romance but this was very heartwarming. I loved it so much. Oh and the fat cat is such a superstar hehe. He`s in Neko no Ongaishi too so yay!

I watched Mimi wo Sumaseba, which had the Baron`s first appearance (at least that`s how I remember it) so this was really, really thrilling for me. I love Baron and his story and I totally fell in love with him after watching this. I want to marry him. Seriously.
