Welcome fellow movie fanatics to my humble flixter page. I love films, dont matter what genre, age or language i can watch anything. Feel free to have a gander on what i have to offer (not much) and please leave a comment or two. Things i like to do include rating movies and quizes. Feel free to add me as a friend (no arseholes please).
As you can see i am a fan of the Animatrix, especially the one thats called 'Program', it kicks ass. I wouldnt say i'm a huge anime fan but i do like a bit of anime/manga now and again. You can do things in animation thats not possible to create in live action, it pushes the boundries of the imagination and therefore is in an important element in film-making (take the animated scene in Kill Bill for example).    I am quite generous when it comes to ratings, you will find almost all films i have rated are 3 stars or above. This is partly because i only watch films that i know i will kinda like but also i like anything as long as it keeps me amused for a few hours!! Anyway, here's a wee guide to my ratings - Not Interested - Avoid at all costs, watching these types of film may damage brain cells. 0.5 to 1 Star - They must have been taking the piss when they made it. 1.5 to 2 Stars - Only a fool would think this film is good. 2.5 - This wont win any academy awards but might keep you occupied for 90 mins or so. 3 Stars - You can live with yourself if you miss this. 3.5 Stars - Its missing something (decent acting probably). 4 Stars - Finally a film worth watching. 4.5 Stars - Awesome film with minor flaws. 5 Stars - Don't even blink cos this is the shit. Fuckin top-class-super-cool-edge-of-the-seat-pants-wetting-action all the way baby!! yeah thats what am talking bout! I totally friggin loved X-men when i was a young lad. The animated series was the best ever. I like the films is well but you can do so much more with animation. Here is my tribute to X-men. enjoy ... One of my all time favourite characters is Miho, played by Devon Aoki, in Sin City. She's super-cool, super-sexy and above all super-fuckin-deadly!! I seem to have a thing about samurai swords - any film that has one in it becomes my favourite. It is by far the coolest weapon you can get, i need to get me one!! I am a huge fan of The Matrix, the sequels wern't that great i must admit but the characters in Reloaded kick ass. Once again i have put my creative skills to use and made this widget to show my appreciation of The Matrix. I am also a huge fan of movie posters and my room is lined wall to wall with them. I have a Kill Bill poster, Matrix, Scarface, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, AVP, Fast and the Furious and 2fast2furious. I would have more but there isn't space!! Really really want a poster of Miho (Sin City) just like the pic above. That would be the ultimate but can't flippin find one! Ah another widget, this time one of my favourite zombie films - Resident Evil. I love all three of the films, think the first one is my favourite but really i can't pick cos they all rock. Recently seen Extinction on DVD. It was so amazing it made me want to make a widget in honour of the Res films. Now i know this has no Extinction shots in it, this is because i wanted to keep the look of it that dark underground way. I love the Red Queen chamber sequence and the famous blue laser which is why most of the pictures i used had to have the blue in it. Lucky there were loads! enjoy! I thought i would write a bit more about myself here. Well apart from movies i love music, i wont go into this because no one ever likes the same stuff except your close friends so there is no point mentioning it really. I love to test my knowledge of things so i am big on quizes. I also like making quizes but as i am such a flippin perfectionist it takes me ages to make one. If you would like me to make a particular kind of quiz let me know i would be happy to make it for you! I have a tendancy to watch different types of films so my movie trivia is never 100% about one genre. My fave genre tho has to be horror or sci fi horror. Even tho horror is not my specialist subject! I have a high tolerance of blood, gore violence and other controversial things. In fact the more controvertial the better i say! I takes a hell ova lot to shock me or surprise me, not that i am cynical just practical. i tend to just go with it and not make a fuss. I HATE PEOPLE WHO MAKE FUSS OVER NOTHING!!! life should be chilled out and relaxed and (relatively) happy. My favourite passtime is watching TV. I like sitcoms and funny dramas but not soaps. Hate soaps. I also like the occasional documentary, its good to know about the world we live in and how things work. I work in a call centre right now but soon i will be heading to Japan to teach English. Although Biology is really my main subject and is what my degree is based on. If you have read all of this then i congratulate you becuase it must have been really boring!! I dont have an exciting life; i'm just a plain simple person who likes movies and who has higher than average intelligence! Have a happy life folks ... i watched a really crap copy of this so it wasnt a good experience but it was still failry creepy and you don't get any answers at the end so its really just a guessing game. Liv is in lots of movies lately it seems, hmmm it was ok maybe i will watch it again am not sure.

Yeah i'm probably being a bit more generous than usual by giving this 4 satrs but it was the first film i have seen in ages. Since i moved to Japan i havn't seen any films apart from my dvd's i took. So this was refreshing to see. I like the chaos and destruction but some bits were a bit cheesy but thats ok it is based on a comic so we should expect some cheese. This is much much much better than the piece of crap they made the first time round. Not a fan of Liv mind you but Edward Norton and Tim Roth are there to save the day! I like how there are 2 Hulks goin head to head! haha!! its awrite i think worth watching.

This film is so ridiculious that its actually funny! typical adam sandler type film. they still make me laugh but i cant give it any more than 3 stars its just not that funny and the end is kinda shit.

hmm was ok but a bit predictable. not a huge will smith fan so maybe thats why i gave it less than 4 starts. dunno just didn't seem that great but it was funny at times. its interesting to see a an alcoholic superhero for a change!

arnie at his best accompanied by a bunch of crazy ass mofo's with big ass guns let loose in a jungle and a 10 foot alien predator with a huge fuck of laser and other alien gadgets chasing them. this film still kicks ass after god knows how many years.

Ghost in the Shell

One of my all time favourites manga films. The more times i watch this the more i love it. The Major is one of my favourite characters of all time. She kicks ass! Start to finish its perfect. A masterpiece by Mamoru Oshii.

The Bucket List
by "JojoThis is one of my FAVORITE movies Ive seen in a long time.
This movie really gets you to think about life as it is now.
You will really enjoy the humor and the sincerity thru these two characters you get to know that Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman play.
This is a must see movie!! I mean come on, If I like it this much, then you should cuz I dont usually send out recommendations LOL....Hey, you should really see this!
