My Favorite Movies
This is all the films i enjoyed watching the most over the years and would happily watch again. In a way they are all my favourite but only the first few are my all time favourites. I am constantly adding to this list when i remember a particular film that i liked or when i watch a great new film.

Resident Evil (2002, R)
Thought i would re-review this. First time i saw this i knew it was a classic. I played the resident evil games (2 and 3) on playstation when i was younger and they were scary for a game. So how does the movie hold up to those who have grown up to playing the characters on PS one and other consoles. Well i reckon they did a fuckin tremendous job of it. Its eerie, dark, jumpy and fast paced. The story unravels through the film as Alice starts to recover from the acute amnesia she is affected by. There are loads of great scenes like the Red queen chamber bit(if you haven't seen it i will say no more!). The dogs, zombies, lickers are exactly just like the game so you remember the fear! And i just love the end, it leaves you wondering Alice and Matt's fate (which you find out in apocalypse). Overall a most amazing modern zombie film. top class. |

Resident Evil - Apocalypse (2004, R)
I watched this again last night cos i wasnt sure which one of the three is my favourite. Good to see the Nemisis in this one so thats one up. The Nemisis looks exactly like the game Nemisis. A lot more zombies in this and its set in the city so its more open. Its more of an action film than a zombie film at times. Thought some of the stunts were a bit much but i really liked the descent down the building that was cool. yeah am pretty sure the first one is better now but i still liked this. Extinction is way better than this. |

The Bourne Ultimatum (2007, PG-13)
I knew this was going to be good but never expected it to be so amazing. I was in awe of its excellence. Fantastic chase scenes like the rooftop scene make this film one of the best films i have ever seen. Its a non stop thrill ride with bourne going back to where it all began for him. It is filmed in various different locations - London, Paris, Madrid, Tangier and Berlin. I don't even like Matt Damon but he is really good at playing Jason Bourne!! The whole Bourne series is superb and this for me comes in as the best of the three. What a finale, wow! |
