This dramatic movie is great, in that it tells a"history" lesson to learn. The film details the account of one man's struggle to save Jewish people from the Holocaust "horror".
Neeson is Oskar, whose heroism was extraordinary. He sets up a textile shop, and defiantly saves thousands who were doomed at the wrath of the Nazi regime.
I can't believe two people can make a whole movie excellent! Spacek plays Jesse, who faces troubles in her personal life . Bancroft plays her anxious mother, and she can't save her daughter from the inevitable "suicide".
I say Bravo to these two actresses, for a superb performance!
Wow, I did enjoy this classic film immensely! McQueen and Hoffman are great as prisoners who try to escape from a penal Colony. It is super, to see McQueen's drive and passion for Freedom. I love It.
This is a classic film that would open one's eyes to blind racism. The heart knows no skin color, or Race; If Love is blind, then it is blind to all differences, and pushed Sydney Poitier together with Hepburn's niece Katherine Haughton.
This is Tracy's greatest performance ! I enjoy the diplomatic dialogue Tracy holds with the others at the end. It is Wonderful.
The greatest quote here is by Poitier. John tells his father,"You see a black man,I see a Man".
I enjoyed this tearful film about adoption. The saddest scene is watching the child scream "momma,Momma" as he is being taken away from the only parents he grew close to. You feel the heartbreak, just like Jessica Lange's character.
Berry and Lange go head to head, as they fight over an innocent life. This is their greatest Performance. Bravo!
You have to admit that many families stay true to Love and devotion.I applaud Vardalos for this great heartwarmer! She plays Toula Portokalos, who has some "wackiness" in her greek orthodox clan; When Ian Miller(Corbitt) strolls into the picture, she falls head over heels in love. Constantine and Kazan are sweet as her father and mother. They try to turn her heart traditionally, but Love knows no "boundary" or religion.
You laugh, at how Ian tries his way to blend into the Portokalos family and win their grace. I enjoyed the best scene, where Kazan and Vardalos sit in the bedroom with old "Grandmother". It is heart-tugging to realize the sacrifice every family makes for a better life. I give applause to the cast and say Cheers for this one of a kind flick!
Hilary Swank jabs at the Heart, in this touching, heartwarmer.Eastwood is the gruff trainer who agrees to show her "the ropes". We see a war of conscience, as Swank is seriously injured, and desires to have Eastwood "end it all".
This Oscar winner is a "knockout"! You feel like cheering and crying for her at the same time.
Most sequels stray from the "freshness" of Originals, but this was actually very funny! The real scene stealer was the nephew/grandson,with his adorable nature.
I thought DeNiro,Streisand,Stiller and Hoffman were wonderful here. I Love It!
The novel is a good read, too. Travolta plays a Massachussetts lawyer, defending five families against a local leather processing plant.
The children die,one after the other, when it is discovered that the company had poisoned their precious water
source with chemical toxins.
aww this is a sweet film that tugs at the heart; Upon the death of a scientist, A Navy SEAL is assigned to protect secret files, and the family he grows attached to.
Pass the hankies! This film grabs the heart, and It never lets go. Lizzie creates this 'father fantasy' for deaf Frankie, corresponding to this "fairytale" sailor on behalf of the boy.
Lizzie does what most parents do, shield children from the awful truth of Abandonment, and hurt.
Unfortunately,it is a sad ending, when both men slip out of Frankie's Life forever.
The "Ahnold" takes a complete turn from action roles, to star in this adorable comic film. He plays a detective, working undercover as a teacher,to protect this mother and son he grows attached to.
You'll crack a smile, as Kimble teaches his class the Gettysburg Address, and gets closer to a "perfect" family he wish he had.
I think this film shows the greed and slimy ways of business. It may not be like original(no Empire State Building), but this is action packed and great,as well.Jessica Lange stars as the hungry starlet looking for a "big Break" Grodin plays the money hungry filmmaker, who uses her and the creature for a personal gain.
Jeff Bridges plays the hero who wants to save Dawn from the "farce and circus" of movie companies.I thought the ending was sad, that the miltary was bent on killing Kong. Here was an innocent creature, taken away from the only land he ever knew. I enjoyed this film and thought it had a great script and wonderful perfomance all-around.
What a great film! The all-star cast gives a brilliant Performance; Parton,Dukakis,Maclaine, and Field, shine as southern belles sharing Life in their community. Roberts is excellent, as the main "damsel", facing rollercoaster trials and Joys.
You laugh at the wit and charming antics of the ladies; They are brilliant actresses who give their all to each performance.
I felt sad, at the ending, and realize Death happens to be a part of Life,we all must go through.
I enjoy this movie with Sam Elliot, and Cher;Lead star Eric Stolze teaches a lesson in tolerance and understanding.A boy feels alienated, when those around him fall away. Cranial deformity is not a disease, and "Rocky" Dennis shines! Stolze has the heart of a winner.I applaud the actor for showing that People are beautiful inside and Out!
This is a beautiful film about determination and Triumph.Young Patty Duke plays blind Helen Keller,a girl lost by the blindness of her own family.Anne Bankroft is the champion (Ann Sullivan)who gave Helen dignity and future dreams.Sign language opened new doors and windows for the blind. WOnderful and Bravo!
When you are a firefighter, you support your brothers.Alec Baldwin and Kurt Russell play two brothers who face the blazes and try to catch a deviant among their group.
