| 2012 - PG-13 |
I recently caught the flick, and think the intensity is awesome! This is similar to The Day After Tomorrow, but what i enjoy is the heart-pounding effects. In the news,we hear about global warming and many environmental dangers. A scientist takes his findings to the government, but everybody hushes him up. When It becomes too late, the struggle ensues. This "edge of your seat" thriller grabs your heart from the beginning. a million Bravos to Danny Glover, John Cusack, and Woody Harrelson. Wonderful! |

| Julie & Julia - PG-13 | My mom and I always watched the "French Chef", and Child was a sweetheart in the kitchen;I think Streep would be a fantastic portrayal | August 8, 2009 | N/A | |||
| A Walk to Remember - PG |
I read the book, and the film is just as sweet. and Wonderful. This heartbreaker. tears the emotions out of you; When a young man meets this girl on a dare,he
unexpectedly falls hard for her. I would call it a younger "Grease" |

| Awakenings - PG-13 | In this interesting medical drama, Robin Williams tries to give hope to patients with a "mystery" illness.DiNiro plays Lowell, who acts as guinea pig for an experimental drug L-Dopa. What seems to be perfect, somehow doesn't last long. As they are not "God" , doctors certainly miss the mark. | May 13, 2009 | N/A | |||
| The Bucket List - PG-13 | I enjoy this heart-tugger that stars Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman .Two terminally ill strangers embark on a journey to fulfill their utmost desires. They do not know each other, and have opposite values about Family and relationships. As they embark on travels together, they draw closer and learn about each other's lives . | May 6, 2009 | N/A | |||
| One Good Cop - R |
I thought this was a tearjerker and a great moving film; A law enforcement officer (Keaton) must stand up to criminal behavior in his "circle" of brothers. He steps up to the plate, when a widowed partner's three daughters lose their father in the line of duty;
Rene Russo is a sweet actress who gives her all to every movie. She must play "stepmom" and doctor to the girls, who are so adorable and cute. This film tests the true meaning of Brotherhood and compassion. Bravo to Keaton and Russo on their splendid performance. |

| My Big Fat Greek Wedding - PG |
You have to admit that many families stay true to Love and devotion.I applaud Vardalos for this great heartwarmer! She plays Toula Portokalos, who has some "wackiness" in her greek orthodox clan; When Ian Miller(Corbitt) strolls into the picture, she falls head over heels in love. Constantine and Kazan are sweet as her father and mother. They try to turn her heart traditionally, but Love knows no "boundary" or religion.
You laugh, at how Ian tries his way to blend into the Portokalos family and win their grace. I enjoyed the best scene, where Kazan and Vardalos sit in the bedroom with old "Grandmother". It is heart-tugging to realize the sacrifice every family makes for a better life. I give applause to the cast and say Cheers for this one of a kind flick! |

| Open Water 2 (Adrift) - R |
This movie was not worth anything;Actress Susan May Pratt joins five other friends, on a yacht that is a death trap. First to think of, Why did these people not prepare, by having a ladder to climb? When they try to make a ladder with their clothes, they should have elected a lightweight female to go up.
They also panic and then act like a "chicken without a head". Being calm and cool is a major plus, to get out of a jam. What I still figure, is how they managed to be in the middle of the ocean without meeting any sharks. Jaws, this isn't. Nothing to rave about, here. |

| Fried Green Tomatoes - PG-13 |
Tandy and Bates star in this sweet film about "Southern hospitality"; When Evelyn Couch visits her husband's aunt in a nursing home, she meets the sweetest personality in Ninny Threadgoode(Tandy).Threadgoode relays stories about Life around a train stop and cafe. With Threadgoode's help, Couch discovers how to be faithful to herself and live life to the fullest. Couch also finds out how to be a better person and wife to her husband.
A moving film that also teaches about the dark side of Society we know as Prejudice. I say Bravo to the cast and applaud the performance. |

| Patch Adams - PG-13 | Robin Williams plays a mental patient, who graduates from medical school; He soon becomes a doctor, and has unconventional ways of treatment. In my feeling, Laughter truly is the "best medicine" and it strengthens the heart. | February 5, 2009 | N/A | |||

| Rocky Balboa - PG |
Sometimes, like the lyrics of a Kenny Roger's hit, "you got know when to fold them".A certain film I enjoyed was Rocky IV,because it seemed "Political" and had personal meaning. But this movie was a bomb.
Rocky & Paulie, now are way older chaps. Somehow, they killed off sweet Adrianne. A popular fighter like Antonio Tarver, wasn't even enough to "pull a rabbit out of a hat",so to speak. Rocky tries for his latest KO, but it seems time for him to retire. Ewwww, and yucky! |

| Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont - Unrated |
This was so wonderful; Palfrey is staying at a hotel and she finds her family doen't even visit or call. She pulls a joke on her friends, when she tries to pass a young gentleman as her grandson.
Plowright gives an outstanding performance, and I love her. |

| Guess Who - PG-13 | I think when people try to remake classics, they fall on their faces. It was not wise to change the magic of Tracy and Hepburn in the original. | May 10, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Drillbit Taylor - PG-13 |
This was not as great as I thought it could be; Wilson is a lazy "zero' who cons some bullied schoolboys out of money. He grows closer to them, and starts looking out for them, when his
partner gets crooked. This tries to be a "super friend' film, but is not so great. |

| And Your Name Is Jonah - Unrated |
I thought Sally Struthers played a more serious role than she does as Gloria (All In the Family). Here parents of a deaf child are misled, as the medical community thinks the boy is mentally retarded.
Any Parent would go to great length to find out how to save a child. Struthers make me see the negligence and carelessness of many so-called "doctors". Struthers has faith and persistance; Through a friend,Jonah finds he has a place in Society & belongs. |

| Spider-Man 3 - PG-13 |
When I caught the dvd with my nephew, I was surprised! It is a wonderful idea to give kids heroes they
can look up to. Spidey faces trouble from three villians, but he winds up victorious in the end. I love this action flick and say Spidey,You Rock! |

| Lean on Me - PG-13 | I thought Freeman was great, as Principal Joe Clark. These students were inner-city kids who had no hope or Future. Clark was inspiring,in that he taught them self-esteem and self-confidence.He fought against state rules, and made these children shoot and "Aim High" in Life. | October 17, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Mr. Bean's Holiday - G |
Rowan Atkinson is a funny, wacky guy. He has a
childish sense of Humor I enjoy. |

I enjoy this cute movie. Rex Harrison plays Prof. Henry Higgins, a dashing phonetics teacher.Audrey Hepburn is Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flowergirl. She
wants to be "more genteel" and hires Higgins to help her speak properly. Wilfred Hyde-White is Pickering, who bets that Higgins can't turn a "flowergirl" into a dutchess.I feel that Man is mature, by how he handles the environment and adjusts to situations. Eliza discovers, that a heart is precious and feelings are delicate. She tolerates Higgins' bullish behavior, and learns how to fit in with upperclass "Society". |
